I have been banging on about this Pandemic for ages, and a few comments-but no insults, apart from
SMDS (DSSmith) BB, where I believe 3 Managers were trying to have me committed for being Paranoid !

All those 3 Arses were worried about was MONEY.

Unfortunately the Virus is NOT abating, and the USA, will probably become the Worst for deaths etc ?
Unfortunately Trump's comment of "getting it done, in 14 days" is waning badly.
Like MOST Countries Top Man/Woman-they all were conned by WHO, that this was a Flu Virus !
Alas, UK were still accepting Air Traffic Movements from Italy, Spain, Germany, France-Europe rife with this Viral plague.

The WHO, stated from the outset this was NOT a Pandemic situation- THE WHO -should all be Dismissed !!!!!

The young Chinese Doctor, who posted a Video, stating this was a serious Medical threat- was either
silenced by the Chinese- or worse, but apparently, allegedly DIED from the Virus ?
The WHO, dismissed this opportunity to........ACT professionally !

My view- very simplistic- when CHINA has another of these FLU VIRUS scares - IF 1 person dies (shut China Down ) -
from EUROPE, and UK, ( shut Europe down )

Simples

Be Safe, keep clear of everyone, wash your foods, wash your hands- Keep your children close !

I would have thought given the amount this stock has been squeezed, the NEWS would have added 10p easily.

Having a bad effect, yesterdays UK Death Toll was the Highest DAILY Number.
Italy, USA and Spain also had high numbers.

Trump blew his Trumpet, and stated a 14 day issue, where "America will get it done"
I assume he means the USA will show the World how their Health system can be the best and overcome this
minor flu issue.

7+ Days into their Lockdown efforts, and signs are worsening-14 days can be an 'earliest peak' from a Lockdown !

Unfortunately, I see no reason why this sp should be manipulated lower-other than SELLS by TINKLER ?
The Fleet have been deployed, and are bombarding food chains with full loads, running on cheaper Fuels

UPDATE ON DIVIDEND PAYMENTS

In order to help us to serve the needs of businesses and households through the extraordinary challenges presented by Covid-19, the board has decided that until the end of 2020 we will undertake no quarterly or interim dividend payments, accrual of dividends, or share buybacks on ordinary shares. In addition, in response to a request from the PRA and to preserve additional capital for use in serving our clients, the board has agreed to cancel payment of the final 2019 dividend in relation to ordinary shares. Accordingly, resolution 17 in relation to the declaration of that dividend will be withdrawn from the AGM, scheduled to take place on 21 May 2020. Our board will decide on any dividend policy and amounts at year-end 2020.



The person responsible for arranging the release of this announcement is Douglas Radcliffe, Group Investor Relations Director.

Lloyds Share Price Technical Analysis
On the Lloyd’s hourly chart, we see that the share price was trading in a descending triangle pattern until Wednesday last week, when it broke-out in the upside. This turned out to be a false breakout, since the price is flirting with its diagonal line. I expect the Lloyds share price to move back to the previous triangle pattern and possibly move below the support level of 29.93, which is the 9-year low.
