c 1.5m sells in last 10 minutes and they are still offering 8.266p to sell and NT to buy 100k on HL !!
Make of that what you will :)

Hi James I hope so fella as I think we have done our stint with these feckers .Give us a level playing field with "normal" buyers sellers and traders and I think we would hit mid teens within a month (subject to positive resolution outcomes)

Aqua I am wondering if the 4.35m trade from yesterday and todays 5m plus another this morning at c 2m are worked buys and "they" are finally leaving us alone ??
As you say there is no way those sells would tick us up !!
Fingers crossed for a level playing field

Hi Tom

Hi Simon,
Thank you for your email.
To answer your question about the voting criteria to achieve successful resolutions are:
Resolution Type Threshold Criteria
Ordinary 50% + 1 vote Votes For / (Votes For + Votes Against), excluding votes withheld
Special 75% + 1 vote Votes For / (Votes For + Votes Against), excluding votes withheld
There is no requirement for a required percentage of all shareholders to vote. Those that don’t vote will only have a detrimental impact if there enough votes against the resolution based on the total that have voted. The Company has been working on an arm’s length basis during the time since the Notice of Meeting was issued ensuring significant shareholders vote in favour of the resolutions to ensure they have the best opportunity of passing.
Hope that helps answer your questions.

Correct GoGreen! There will be no bid inwards IMO ! Which company in their right mind turns down the chance to buy a slice at 7p equivalent then rocks up with double that within weeks or months??
All nonsense

It's a good suggestion Geckos however like others I don't see the point of a tot up at this stage
Look how many are disagreeing with Resolutions 3-5 ? Many are pro GGP and yet some say no and others yes ( I have said yes to all 5)
The same principle applies to a potential buy out vote-some would say yes at 10p because they bought at 7.6p this week whereas others would want north of £1
I would like to see a low ball bid be made so we can rerate to that level eg 14-16p then reject it out of hand and carry on upwards from there (highly unlikely we will get a bid IMO just saying)

1m sold in 2 minutes. Anyone really think 0.5% of short is having minimal impact?? Time to give your heads a wobble
Barsteward shorters
Hi onthebottomruñg
I have an over committed holding already which like everyone else means paper value reduction is gut wrenching to witness. I have c20% of cash to deploy and I suppose what I am saying is if the shorters closed I wouldn't hesitate to buy at 7p 8p 9p or even 10p as I believe all those are undervalued. But I am resisting the temptation to buy more now at what seems a bargain in case they drive it down in to the 7s or good forbid 6s. So on that 20% I will try my hardest to add at what the bottom might be. If I miss it then the 80% will benefit nicely anyway
Hope this covers my stance

Lack of buying partly because people dont want to see shorters sell into the buying! It's a vicious circle. I have funds to deploy to take me to my maximum level but refuse to while I know they want in back to the 7s. IMO as if they are still selling in 1m blocks like this morning it tells me they want to buy back lower ie 7s or 6s
So the technique they use is highly effective far more important IMO than quoting a 0.5% actual percentage which would seem irrelevant but is significant enough

Disagree Tymers he forced them to pay 3 x what they wanted by brilliantly producing MRE2 at very short notice and winning the valuation battle. So Imo he played a blinder
GLA MFU
For most of 2022 peoples concerns have mainly revolved around the shorting, the 5%, Newcrest downplaying and the funding. Shaun has played a blinder in keeping the 5%, we can't do f-all about the shorters other than wait them out and I am sure the downplaying by NCM has been with half an eye on taking us out at a low price if we couldn't get the funding.
Shaun has fully funded us (he can't guarantee but has taken every provision he can by adding a sensible buffer) and yet people are fussing about the issue of equity.
We had to raise a substantial deposit for the Tier 1 banks to agree to support us. How many of you have taken a mortgage over the years ? Yes there are 100% deals but typically at less favourable terms and we have negotiated an amazing 3.5% above the australian equivalent of Base rate. Quite an incredible achievement commended by many industry pro's this last week
So while none of us would have chosen to dilute it was inevitable especially once MCM turned down the 5% and with new world class board members we have all the tools to transition us from explorer to producer even before the FS has been announced. Remember they do not get paid a penny until the SP is c 12p and even then they need an increase above 12p to make money.....do you think they would give their expertise for nothing ?? So realistically they must be confident of a minimum 15p short term (ie within 12 months) or they are working for very little as senior executives go.
We also needed the financial support of the cornerstone and strategic investors who also are not in this for no gain. So all in all I am reassured (not delighted with the SP for sure) that this gives us a far better chance of reaching past highs even if it takes a little longer compared to the alternative which would have been a low takeover or even worse

only churned if they are sold....5diggers tied down for 12 months, new cornerstone and strategic investors won't be selling at a loss so not sure where your 360m is coming from !
