BP must be a good bet at this level. Nice to see a divvy every 3 months. If one only ever held shares in BP and RDSB, then over time, one's investments would be sound. Accumulation.

The country needs statesmen/women who have some spine. Instead we mostly have twerps interested in short term personal gain. Whilst people like Rees-Mogg are mocked for having money, his sort are not motivated by hanging onto salaries and pensions.
Hope that piece of wisdom drives the Lloyds share price up. We don't seem to be able to get and stay over 63p. However, things are in the doldrums at the moment so need to worry that much.

Have also bet quite heavily here myself. Trading update was good.

People knew what they were voting for - the ability of governments to prevent a mass takeover of the UK. Assumiing govts have the spine to do it. Most will be unaffected by a switch to WTO rules for EU trade. It won't change their lot very much when they don't have much anyway or pay over half their income in rent - largeley driven by lack of housing in turn driven by a 250k / year added to the population from overseas.

V funny. Don't see enough downside for 48p but see a modest upside of a few % points.

Grateful for anyone who thinks this would go much higher than 70p to explain the rationale??

buys and sells seem about equal today. Assuming there is relative calm to allow things to be connected up without too much bobbing around I just wonder - dare we hope for the whole schedule to be brought forward?
