KTF - He is actually a stand up guy - brutally honest at times and calls it as he sees it.
I get that his tone is sometimes aggressive but he has lost a lot of faith in SOU, especially JP and is both angry and disappointed at the situation we potentially find ourselves in. Regards investment he is in the same boat as quite a few of us.
I admit there is a savage humour to his posts, bordering on slanderous but that is the kind of person he is, I'm afraid
Jez
I know N4A - he works in Sevenoaks and has met BM & JP both at their offices and during lunch breaks in the high street
I can't see what he has posted this morning as he has been banned from posting but he has asked me to re-post the response from JP received this morning:
James Parsons (j.parsons@soundenergyplc.com)To:you Details
Hello XXXX – I can confirm I am totally focused on my day job at Sound.
C4 is a private company and wuestions on NUOG must be addressed to them – I am not part of that company.
The marketing process is still expected to conclude by the end of the year per our previous RNSs.
James
http://www.onhym.com/en/exploration-activity.html
Extract:
“In onshore, Sound Energy spudded two (2) exploration wells, including one (1) successful well, in addition to the acquisition of 1410, 52 Km of 2D seismic in the Grand Tendrara permit, as well as 342,65 Km of 2D seismic in the Anoual permit. SDX spudded five (5) exploration wells including 4 successful wells in addition to the acquisition of 240 Km² of 3D seismic in the Gharb Occidental permit.”
Not de-ramping at all but when did we spud a successful well in 2018?
JamesParsnips - I posted this last week following an email received from Sarah:
Thanks for your e-mail and apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
We last updated on the GSA via RNS in May (Please see here: https://www.soundenergyplc.com/investors/regulatory-news/rns-announcement/3603657) were we gave details of the offer and the non-binding terms. We also announced that ONEE the state power company will purchase all the gas produced by the existing Tendrara production concession. We continue to negotiate this offer with the with a view to closing out a binding Heads document.
With regards to the timing of the marketing period, unfortunately as we are mid marketing process I am unable to guide on exact timings at present.
The location for TE-11 has been identified but we have guided that we will pause operations during the marketing process. This goes for Sidi (currently in farm out process) and Anoual too.
Kind regards,
Sarah
My reply:
Sarah
Thanks for the response - could you provide feedback on my query below, which seems to have been missed:
"Thirdly you emailed a response to me back in Jan regards works programmes where you stated that there were no further works programmed for after this Summer - was the sales process already being considered then and, if so, what triggered this so far back?"
Kind regards
Ponkey - absolutely priceless. So potentially another 5 months of no news.......
But i suppose you have to bear in mind that they have to play their cards very close ot their chest now - I am not saying that this is good for the nerves but I assume they cannot show their hand, or even hint at anything in the public domain as this may compromise any position they may have. Just speculating.
At least you got a reply. :)
Just chased and BM has said he would forward on to Sarah to respond - seems like a bit of a delaying tactic but probably just my imagination.
Seems strange that all lines of communication are either down or on a go slow (twitter, emails, et al)
First time being invested in company that is for sale/open to offers so not sure what directives the PR would have received....
Ponkey - no , not yet - maybe o have touched a nerve but thought my queries were pretty standard- what is strange is I emailed JP with a separate query whilst he was an leave and BM answered in his place so the total lack of response is strange.....
Trades - thanks for the insult - if you met me you wouldn’t like me to a Neanderthal but if that’s your type I’m not one to judge.
I will keep my own counsel going forward and please forgive me if I am not at all affected by your rant - just so long as your vent has made you feel better.
Trades - are you venting at me or at SOU? I am sure you are more than capable of sending screenshots if that will make you feel better.
Also I would be surprised if BM and JJ were not involved in presentations/fielding questions etc?
Happy to be corrected but would ask that you direct your ire at those you feel have wronged you....
Trellis - I hope you are keeping well?
Mooncheese was a legend - so far off the reservation they were just a dot on the horizon.
Jez - my patience is at its limits too but feel that nothing can be gained from squabbling amongst ourselves.
Heres hoping to news, whatever it may be, soon.
Play nice everyone.
BTW - for context here is my Email sent last week:
"James
I hope you are keeping well and had a good break?
Just trawling through old emails and wondered if you had any further comment to add to your response of 14.01.19 regards GSA timeline (highlighted below)?
(On 14.01.19 JPs reply was "GSA is due shorty as per the last RNS." - it is now July so could somebody define "shortly"?)
Also, many are wondering as to the timeline of the marketing process - all are anticipating a end of July "all bids is" cut off, with a report/recommendations possibly mid-August?
(I honestly was not expecting a response to this - but sometimes it is what they don't say....)
Thirdly you emailed a response to me back in Jan regards works programmes where you stated that there were no further works programmed for after this Summer - was the sales process already being considered then and, if so, what triggered this so far back?
(Fom my email chain it appears that SOU knew as far back as Jan 19 that nothing was going to happen after this Summer - why?)
Finally - has a drill location been identified for TE-11, ready for if the marketing process does not pan out, if so how quickly can this be done and can you advise on the situation with Sidi and Anoual?"
(Just wanted to get a conversation started.....)
Jack - I hope you are keeping well?
Have not posted for a while as what is there to say? Every post at the moment is supposition, speculation and rumour. As they say the devil makes work for idle hands - therefore all we have is boredom, spite and posters posting just to be read - a lot of the chaff over the last few months has been devoid of any reasoned debate/discussion.
Nobody has the inside track - those of us that invested (not traded) at higher levels did so on the promise of a dream.
It sits squarely on JP's shoulders, and to a lesser extent BM and JJ to turn that dream into a reality and it is my profound hope that that is what they are doing, hence the news blackout.
If you havent sold then all we can do is "sit on our hands" and wait -although when JP first made that statement there was excitement on the board, not desparation.
Morning all...
Cabby, neither JP, JJ, BM or Sarah are responding to any of my emailed queries - everything I have asked I would not classify as restricted or sensitive information so it appears there is a total communication shut down at the moment.
Am way underwater so am just holding till the end, whenever that may be.
GLA
N4A - couldn't have put it more succinctly myself - add to that the fact that not one person (as far as I can recall) understood that £1-£1-50 per TCF wasn't actually £1-£1.50 per TCF as it needed to be / by 47.5%. Not once did JJ /JP correct the misconception.
Our only hope now is that a "fair" bid is made and we can cut our losses and lick our wounds.
