Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Very frustrating but Avacta have been using the time to firm up orders and capacity whilst hopefully also building up stock to immediately sell into the EU/UK market as soon as approval has been granted. Al must be livid but don’t ignore the positives in this RNS
Al’s estimates of 5 million to 30 million per month took no account of any potential Medusa’s sales who can only supply our antigen test. They are canny operators who know how to make money and they have spent the last 12 months investing in production capacity up to 50 million tests a month that would dwarf our provisional monthly estimates. Thanks to our 2 sleuths yesterday we know it is our test they are developing and are almost ready to go. Underestimate Medusa if you want but they are the wildcard that could make them and us very rich
Ask them when you can buy one off them
Makes checking in on the Board during the day more interesting when there is a genuine possibility of a significant intra day RNS as well as discouraging day traders
Deliberately or otherwise for the first time by publishing a significant RNS during the day it makes it more dangerous and therefore less likely for traders to try and manipulate the SP during the day. In theory this should create more stability and less volatility
It was rumoured yesterday that Paul Waugh, the highly respected and well connected journalist who wrote the Huff Post article might be updating that article. Now that would create some lively discussion over the long Bank Holiday weekend if he did
The next press conference Boris faces he will be bombarded with questions on Cummings and the influence Lady MacBeth has on his decision making
He will not want to come to this PC without some good news that distracts attention from this so he can say the good old British public is not interested in such trivia but real stories that put the UK in a good light.
Enter stage left Sir Al!
Might be something to do with potential copper deposits. Still a lot of warrants to churn through though beer get some movement in the SP

It would be good to get clarification today on Medusa’s contribution to private sales of our LFD. Some very clever people behind that and they have spent the last 12 months building manufacturing capacity up. Their contribution plus potential licensing agreements could be the real game changer here
Ongoing but slow progress with DHS/PHE.
Very diplomatically put Al. What a bunch of to**ers.
Indeed
In discussions with 20 distributors covering 25 European territories!!
Looking forward to the Presentation
Outstanding results giving us a best in the class test. Great reward for the many of us who had complete faith in Al and the team
He has just said in the Commons that a new Covid test is being developed that can identify whether a position result is of a known variant which could reduce the time taken to identify unknown variants
Results were due at a similar time last year but put back a few weeks because of the placing. Results normally need to be published by 30th June. Like others can’t believe he won’t have the results of the CV out by then as he would be bombarded by questions about it in the Presentation. It does add to the possibility that results may be being delayed by the week of mourning for PP.
Paul Hill talking to Justin Waites on Vox markets today said he puts any potential delay in the CV down to the tardiness of the regulatory authorities and the shortage of potential cases because of the success of the vaccination campaign. He sees the Abcam partnership as further vindication of the superiority of the test. Basically nothing to worry about and be patient
The longer we wait for the CV results the more likely the resulting RNS will contain details of manufacturing capacity both within the UK and beyond and potential contracts both public and private. You wouldn’t want to be out over the weekend!
Some people choose to forget that the timing of the LFD CV is dependent on many factors outside Al’s control. This RNS with a world renowned partner could just be the forerunner of a global distribution agreement. Too many people obsessed with the UK market when Al has his sights on Europe and beyond
Further proof of the superiority of our affimer reagent and a nice little starter before the main course
Boris cannot reference a new improved LFD without undermining the present tests as they will have to continue to be used given the numbers the Gov are talking about
