The 2 major inflection points are likely to be the publication of the JORC and a movement to a more liquid market in either the UK, Aus or both. Next year should be interesting

Encouraging report given Al’s recent comment that AVCT were making good progress on a number of other non COVID commercial opportunities regarding diagnostic testing. Plenty of revenue opportunities available if and when there is less need for COVID testing

Very much agree with this view. It is Cytiva who produced a test which turned out to be non scale able that is the major issue and it was left to BBI with HMG guidance that have produced a more workable test. Alastair can be criticised for unrealistic timescales but I don’t accept he has deliberately mislead shareholders

Boris hopefully will float the idea today of ending the 14 day isolation period by introducing daily tests over a 7 day period for those who would previously have had to self isolate. If they test negative they don’t need to isolate. The issue at the moment is there isn’t a test that is sufficiently accurate to allow this to happen. If they are talking about starting such a scheme in the New Year that should fit AVCT’s timescale. A Boris bounce will happen this pm if he makes reference to this

Second top up for the day for me. Yes the change to swab test may have delayed things but it makes the test more practical for personal use and anyone who thinks testing will not be profitable in the medium term is not listening to the majority opinion in the science world. AVCT with its affimer programme will still be the best test around

For any medium to long term holder this is a great RNS derisking the diagnostic programme and providing the basis for multiple revenue streams through 2021 and beyond. Buy the dips as the traders have their fun

Unless I am missing something an AVCT LFD which can detect infectious people whether asymptotic or not would get Boris and anyone else who is isolating back to work pending another test 3 days later to confirm the first negative test. As the article points out Track and Trace condemns tens of thousands of people many in key jobs to an unnecessary 14 day quarantine that could be avoided with an accurate POC test. No wonder AVCT will sell all they can produce if they can get it right. Having said that getting Boris out of the way for 14 days maybe no bad thing!
