Just out jumping on the media publicity re sewage today. Positive for their SP and we are part of their consortium with MWG
Had some E mail contact with Brett earlier in the week and he was looking forward to getting back into the field next week so the news today is a very good aperitif and the SP is reacting accordingly. More elephants to come in the next few weeks
Reaction to Myles’ highly positive tweet ?
A very positive interview from Fortune well worth listening to. I don’t often recommend shares to friends for obvious reasons but I did last week for BMN and delighted for her sake the timing of the share buy appeared well timed
Topped up at 0.70 this morning. Still underwater from STGR days but very optimistic regards TTAU prospects. JORC within 6 months and a move to a less junior market should do the trick
Good find and the first example of media picking up on the Parliamentary report from Friday. Now for the Sunday’s?
Yes really good point. Happy with manufacturing all types of tests including our antigen test
Yes but they are recruiting for the manufacture of home based antibody tests. Any offers?
The BMJ still seem unaware of developments with the AVCT LFD and their potential for mass testing. The NDA with Gov and Condor still seems to be working well
The reference in the Mail today linking AVCT directly to Operation Moonshot is the first time such a reference has been made in the national media. It is now highly likely that other media outlets will be following the story up and this could well be the start now of an extended period of publicity leading to the eventual launch of the test. Specifically there will be other announcements before this - tech transfer completion, BAMS validation etc- which will all add to the speculation surrounding the launch of the LFD.

Confirmation that discussions between AvCT and Omega have taken place
This was the SP at the beginning of the week before the Presentation, before news of the launch of BAMS and before Al had told us he had been in detailed discussion with HMG regarding the development and roll out of the LFD. In addition the intra day RNS will hopefully spook some of the traders from off loading early in the expectation of buying back cheaper later. Plenty happening then since the interims on Monday morning to confound the sell on no news traders at the beginning of the week and plenty for the genuine investors to look forward to in Q4
Don’t forget Elisa either with some sewage in the new year. Like others took advantage of this ridiculous price
Alastair again gave a highly professional presentation which the nontechnical amongst us were able to follow. Rightly we concentrate on the potential revenues from the LFT but don’t underestimate the revenue potential of Elisa and BAMS. Who knows might even get some from GB’s sewage!
The stock market is a very efficient way of transferring wealth from the impatient ie traders looking for the next rainbow stock to the patient ie investors who read this update with an understanding of the amazing progress made to date and the fantastic mid term prospects to come
What do Skin/Aptamer/AVCT all have in common? All based in Yorkshire! What would this country do without us
Not a filler but further vindication that affimers are at the heart of the fight against the coronavirus with all bases apparently covered. Am I alone in getting tired of impatient people constantly talking this great company down !
Not sure how many more times this needs to be said but AVCT have done their bit but timing of announcements are now out of their hands. Yes Al’s earlier comments on potential timings do appear with hindsight over optimistic and rather naive in that sense but given our clueless Gov had little idea of a testing plan at that stage that was hardly his fault. There is still no other home based LFT so a little more patience still required before all will be revealed
Why now? Good question
The last webinar in May was very informative and arguably inspirational and Al has an even better story to tell this time. Roll on Monday week for the updated instalment
