Yes it was Alex Stafford who I contacted last Monday with a copy of the Delta RNS. Nice to see him using the terminology that I used in his reply to you! Keep them coming
The potential for affimer technology for both therapeutics and diagnostics is simply mind blowing and the only way big pharma can get their hands on it is either through collaboration or a takeover at multiples of the present SP

Worth a read and further evidence of malpractice in the award of Gov contracts

Two proprietary platforms (#Affimer & #PreCISION) with multiple applications provide @avacta with several attractive opportunities in #diagnostics &, longer-term, in #therapeutics.

Yes he is a Tory MP in a red wall seat not far from Wetherby. He is very proactive in support of his constituents particularly if it coincides with a levelling up agenda link
Just received a reply back from my MP having sent him a link to the RNS earlier. He said that he has written to the new Health Secretary this morning regarding the disparity between the Innova test and our test and the other issues I raised. He will forward his substantive response when he receives it. In the meantime he assures me he will be pursuing the matter through informal channels
Sent with a comment to my Red Wall MO. Suggest others do likewise
Great news. Finally we have seen the lowest SP. Onwards and upwards.
Free tests ending on July 19th which fits in well with the timeline mentioned in the Presentation. Free Innova tests finally coming to an end?

Logic and rational decision making are not traits associated with the present Government where cronyism and back handers would be more common descriptors. However if we assume they are then there is logic in not yet trumpeting a more accurate and less intrusive UK manufactures LFD. There are still likely hundreds of millions Innova tests that need shifting and it is unlikely the Avacta test is not yet sufficiently scaled up to replace it. Come July 23rd the foreign travel industry will be just one of many requiring more accurate tests and it is around that time that a logical Government would start rolling out the Avacta test. Over to you Saj!

For the LTH who bought some time ago and who are unlikely to be panicked by short term movements in the SP there are a lot of positives to come out of today which have been well articulated by others today. Yes it is disappointing to see the reduction in paper profits but as with the previous Presentation a couple of months ago there was too many false expectations based around the timing of it which was always aimed at replacing Qand A at the AGM later in the month.
Much of the criticism of Al and his team is unfair and disrespectful on a small Pharma that is trying to achieve something without any support from HMG which has been way beyond bigger and much better resourced potential competitors
As a LTH very happy with this. Happy to ignore the noise
Raising expectations re tomorrow’s meeting is in the interest of traders who will immediately talk the SP down if there is no announcement re capacity or orders. It is for this reason that it is important to lower expectations as some have been doing although the lack of FOMO on Friday will help limit any fall. This date has been set over 4 weeks ago and Al is not clairvoyant but what we want to see is a direction of travel with orders to follow as and when they are ready
Just have done!
I sent Monday’s RNS to my local Tory MP in a red wall seat and he was surprised to read the success of a local Yorkshire pharma and he was totally unaware of it. He did say that he would raise it with DHSC though I am not holding my breath
I have just forwarded today’s RNS to my local MP in Yorkshire with a note as to how a local firm holds the key to opening up the economy and getting us back to some kind of normality. He has responded to my E mails in the past. Every little helps
Those posters labouring the point again today about missed deadlines often snidely really ought to read the article in the FT today referenced by Benx4 to understand the bigger picture here

Hopefully MHRA work bank holiday weekends and will fast track after this delay and this time shortly will mean just that
