Why would you push the price down to do a large raise? That doesn't make any sense!

One would assume a reserve price on the lots. Would be good to know what they are but we probably won't.

I doubt they are going to be cutting many black stones. One would assume the chosen 16k are either above average size i.e. 4-5 carats or of special qualities or both.

Why would low-grade industrial make it into the cutting batch? Surely, only gem quality would be worth cutting?
