Completely agree with you there.
If cancelling the Royalty payment had been a price of getting the fundraise away I would have expected an announcement at the time.
I cannot understand how we enter into an agreement to supply gas to ENEO who have a poor payment record and do not insist on payment guarantees.
Are VOG really that bereft of commercial sense?
We commenced supply on 22 December, so basically ENEO paid for 9 days.
Hopefully we have stopped the supply.
Well you're doing a little bit better than me!
That was the question that Ahmet glossed over at the AGM.
He was quick to say that VOG wouldn't be putting all their eggs in one basket by charging the station rather than ENEO but missed the point that the station needed to be paid by ENEO.
Cameroonian politics is messy at the moment, we need to remember that only one region voted against Biya, the capital of that region is Douala and where is the seat of the Anglophone crisis?
Glad to see you are still here.
Any news on further powerstations etc. I think these are the only way to a substantially higher shareprice whilst the customer base expands so slowly.
The fact that the placing included shareholders and that it is conditional on BOard changes is fascinating.
It would appear that they demanded Foo's head as a price for their continued support and VOG couldn't find an alternative. No wonder there were whispers of this placing circulating the city.
Now wouldn't it be great if they also demanded the end of the royalty payments.
Perhaps Foo will now join the Action Group!
A question.
There has been a little speculation about whether TE-11 will be drilled or not.
I beleive that the cost was quoted as £6m which would equivalent to 0.6p per share.
Even if TE-11 were to be a failure wouldthe additional knowledge gained be worth more than half a peeny a share to a potential purchasser?
Actually, I intend to vote against it.
I am not anticipating that it won't be passed, I need to register a protest.
You forget yourself.
You told us that as Jonesy not as Bob, you weren't a member then, remember.
Looks like Bob has the same sources as Mick.
Placing first or Annual Accounts?
Thoughts anybody?
Time will tell.
A number of us have been concerned about the finances of the company.
The 3 RNSs do increase concern.
As does the appearance of a new uber positive poster with the same characteristics as one who recently disappeared.
As I said time will tell.
3 production/operation updates in less than 2 weeks smells of desperation.
Time will tell.
Not necessarily Mickey.
The Royalties are due on the quantity of gas produced, not necessarily paid for.
So if Bob is correct and I have no reason to doubt him, then VOG can only issue 35M shares which at 10p would only raise £3.5M.
Is this enough to cover the next Royalty payment?
Doyou think this will hold above 10p tomorrow?
A point that may be worth considering.
We have a couple of chunky shareholders now, they cannot possibly be happy with the performance of their investment. Perhaps the sharholders action group could reach out to them and then we might be able to hold the BOD to account.
Somewhat irritating that those of us who raised concerns about a cash placing were villified by Paranoia Blue, BanjoMick and Mickwhatismyusernamethisweek.
As a shareholder I still hope I'm wrong but commonsense would indicate otherwise.
I really should take the £25k hit but can't bring myself to do it.
No, he was sat just behind Markettimer, I believe his name was John.
