I assume you mean futures. Spot price (which appears to affect current sp more) is a bit above $26 - still pretty good by recent dire standards. And the trend is clearly upwards.

I myself have absolutely no idea where the sp will end up today. We’ve had an excellent run, so a retrace would not be a shocker. I suppose the opening on Wall Street may have an influence, as will Brent (obviously).

The problem is that the sum involved in buying the assets from BP is roughly twice the entire market value of PMO at current sp. that’s plainly too big a frog to swallow. Better either to renegotiate the purchase price and terms - or put the deal on one side for now. Imho.
