Can anybody moneyterise the gas from 16az? They are saying the equivalent of 80 barrels of oil per day, what does this net financially?

16az is still being choked whilst the intervention work is on hand to reduce the water intake. This is sensible as its doesn't further compromise well integrity. So there's a fair chance the 51 barrels will increase. They haven't filled it in so they must favour the odds.

The geology is challanging, just as challanging as taking an AIM start to mid tier in less than 24 months. But my man where's there's a challange there's the potential. I doubt that there's many here that don't appreciate the geology in Georgia is challenging. But howay lets be frank here, if they crack the gas then the returns are very sweet indeed. 4.5p entry is a better risk than those who paid 17p with what's been learned. This is AIM, its all a punt.

So what's the net result at $3.40/mcf gas?

For sure. There's a 90,000 bbls capacity in place right now 30k down the road. There's no need to rush or hedge like the major producers need too. The focus should be on filling the local 4-5,000 capacity that's being built than short term sales.

Aye a combination of over excitement and a badly worded RNS was a major mistake and regrettable. However unlike those numpties calling for heads I think valuable lessons will also of been learned in managing expectations.

I used to work for an AIM company and it can not be understated how much it used to get hammered into us that we had to deliver for the city. I’m pleased that there was six(could be wrong slightly) II’s involved in the book build. That’s a good mix. Our major II was.... Woodford. Say no more.

Thanks SEA. It’s reassuring to note that flow rates can increased in this field. I’m further reassured that Block have assumed around 395 for each well in the current program. This puts them in a nice position in the medium term to take advantage of the 3D. I think if this share is going to go places it’s what they do next once they have a steady, delivered, unhyped revenue stream. I’m still hoping the gas is going to blow the bloody doors off. Time will tell.

It's worth reading up on the cementing of an oil well. There's options around special cements and techniques to contain higher water content. It's well documented so if experts have been engaged after the initial drill then I'd be fairly confident that "lessons learned" mean just that.

If Paul knew of all issues prior to the book build and the interviews with the grease monkey then he deserves an Oscar. I don't know enough about the process to comment further.
