got to agree with Toms previous post, the management are dire, lots of shareholder value lost over the years, this needs breaking up to get some value back, studios as a standalone would be on a much higher multiple, the rest would stay as a dog rated stock as it is in its entireity at the moment!!

As usual, we get a bounce and ITV one of the worst performers, even travel stocks outperforming it today, even though we dropped as much(ish) as them Friday, way too twitchy about individual programming, PLEASE someone put this out of it's misery , its got be be worth 150 plus as a breakup candidate !!

Some people on here seem to be deluded, what we say does zero to the share price!! we do not mean anything in the grand scheme of things, this company does seem undervalued in my view-and is disliked by institutional investors, it is ripe for a bid/breakup but this has been muted for many years to no avail, but whatever we say-or wish for will not move the share price!!

nonsense, this stock has been underperforming for years!! and after the drop Friday and a slight up day today, and as stated a good launch this is down again, a dog, don't get me wrong Im holding a few, but got to admit I made a mistake, there's value there, but management are clueless to unlock and bolster defences against a possible bid..

even a slight bounce in the ftse this morning, a good launch last night of Im a Celebrity, cannot get this dog to bounce, someone please put us out of our misery and bid-got to be worth 200p all day long, or management clowns list us as 2 entities-studios which will attract a much higher rating, and the network/online business, this alone would put at leat 30% onto the share price value imo

lowest P/e, lowest price to book value that equals cheap/undervalued whichever way it's spun , all big co.s have something in the closet you've got to be naive not to realise that...yea the problem is that if you pay your best people less they will go to another bank that pays more and profits will then fall, the only way your theory would work is if all banks globally agreed to cut bonuses...that will never happen

the price of the stock(49.06 v 190.96) does not represent market cap!!!-you must multiply by share issuance - in fact lloy market cap is 34.832Bn against Barc 32.051Bn, Barc profits 5.48 Bn ,Lloy a fraction of that, therefore as I said even though Barc is way cheaper it still gets hit as hard as the more expensive banks!! the stock is hated-I do not know why

very lowly rated stock, very cheap but unloved, almost as unloved as Barclays, studios alone is probably worth total market cap based on previous deals, any twitch in any market sector hits this stock-crying out for a takeover/break up, seems that's the only way we will get some value

New Fed chair announced in US today, way more dovish, so interest rate increase not so likely, Barclays hit hard as usual , the stock is the cheapest bank stock in the western world but still gets a big hit-got to be the most hated stock on the ftse!!

normally on a second up day (the ftse is currently up 40 plus) a stock would have some momentum into a second day, a good example is MKS, its up slightly today, whilst ITV cannot even hold steady, it is just an unloved stock, similar to Barc in that way...

as usual this stock cannot even hold onto a gain into day 2-even on a good positive day, after excellent trading update, unless bid talk is forthcoming , I can see this drifting back to the mid teens, a great company but unloved...

More negative news over the weekend regarding Barclays/Staley/Epstien as usual the press hate Barclays, seems to be the most hated stock out there, look at the P/E(around 5)compared to it's peer group and it's other valuation matrix , unless it starts to move up soon it's got to be a takeover target in my view...
