Merkel vetoed Ukraine’s membership of NATO that year. This disastrous decision quite simply invited Putin back for more (just as Hitler was invited back for more): a lightning invasion of Crimea with trouble stirred up in the Donbas (just as in preceding years in South Ossetia!) and then the attempted Blitzkrieg against all of Ukraine. Quite unbelievable that Scholz is still pursuing Merkel’s policies. What a godsend that man is for Putin.

I absolutely agree, Flombo. There is something not right here. No mention of Vevan, possible joint action on a JR or anything else. They have not informed us of Ashurst’s departure. I immediately thought about that 7th December RNS as well. Has Swizz any comment to make or does this come as a surprise to him as well?
