Why are you so ready to believe what Putin, of all people, told Tucker Carlsson?

You will recall that idiot Carlsson went to Moscow to make his man look good, you apparently gullible twat. You have just answered my question in my last post. You are indeed wilfully blind and as such get the Green uniform treatment. That was your last post as well, as far as I am concerned.

I have listened to the bumbling, smiling, totally disingenuous professor and his even more disingenuous interviewer. Are you telling me that you have got neither the wit, nor the information nor the inclination to see through all this disinformation? Every story has two sides - because it is usually possible to balance two perspectives. When your professor tries to show how reasonable Putin has always been he just gives himself away. He never mentions Putin’s wish to join NATO at one stage. He as much as lies about the Minsk agreements by failing to mention that Russia refused to act as a guarantor of Minsk 2 because they said they were not involved in the area and that this was not their business - even though they were supplying men and missiles to encourage Russian nationalists. It was in fact (fact) Russians from Russia who shot down the passenger jet. He thinks the annexation of Crimea was ok because the Russians were worried that they might lose their long-term lease on Sebastopol. That was an excuse. He is saying in effect the American far right were planning to force Putin into war by planning to get them out of Sebastopol and forcing UKraine to join NATO. Putin forced Ukraine to look to NATO for protection. He even paints Biden as an aggressor rather than a bumbling ditherer in his support for Ukraine. Are you blind rather than wilfully blind, is my question to you.

This a rare opportunity for Trump to triumph in the rare earths game. You might see Kursk handed back for the really strategic deposits in Ukraine. After all, Putin did not say he invaded to get his hands on these - so he may still be able to claim a victory, even if he is forced to give these up. Trust Trump to make him feel relatively good about it all. Also be in no doubt that America will defend these areas in the future against aggression. Note that America does not have deposits of these vital rare earths and does not want to be dependent on China for them.

As for brotherly love between the two of them!? Trump will be top dog - Putin has no choice as the very early delivery of new jets from France and the Netherlands is no coincidence. They used to make excuses and postpone delivery for as long as possible. Now they cannot get them there fast enough! Very significant in my view. That and the threat of far tougher sanctions means Trump has Putin’s vitals in a vice, as some one said recently. I think he meant to say testicles.

You may have dismissed value here and still bought as a punt but the super-cautious are very averse to punts involving worthwhile amounts. Do you wish to reveal if you bought only a few or a significant amount? Cautious people generally avoid shares altogether and for that reason do not frequent chat rooms to discuss them. My reasoning was that 130P (+) was the average of hundreds of investors’ guesses minus the outlandish.Last ACF report was very close to this figure. What discount to apply? Bearing in mind EUA’s good standing with the authorities over many years and, importantly , case-by-case consideration I suggested 70P as the best fit with the proviso that 100P was more likely than 50P. I continue to stand by it. I do not expect a tonsure of 90-100P. The outlandish thing is to think the BoD will accept much less than $2B for huge assets with, in some cases, a DFS. This is a great opportunity for Russia to show it is keen to secure urgent investment from anywhere in the world and not drive it away.

No update on litigation from SB, so I’m ruling that route out.

All the signs have been there for at least five years that our BoD is a class outfit. The malicious, wilfully ignorant trolls like TD2 pass over in silence things like the minimal dilution over that period while our assets at the same time expanded.

I think it likely Potanin made an offer in 2021. I said at the time NN were the least likely to need a DFS for obvious reasons and so tried to get it on the cheap and steal a march on other bidders! The rumour may or may not be correct that it was only $1.5B. There was another rumour that 65P had been turned down, as I remember.
