Boyobach, lol, 144 electrolysers per day on a FULLY AUTOMATED factory. Nel are given the title of wirld leaders in the production of electrolysers. This is not by me but the industry. They have supplied in the US & EU 1 previous and the 2nd new 3 line factory opened now as stated by ceo on todays link.
To put it in to scale literally. Proton , now Nel in the US and a few recent electrolysers in Denmark in the last FIVE YEARS have produced and supplied 3,700 approx.

Nels new factory once up to speed in the coming month will produce 4,200 PER MONTH. They produced 3,700 in the last FIVE YEARS.

Nels new factory once promoted as actually being open will be a geological shift in scale up. The bug industries of steel, aluminium, ammonia, solar, transport NEED BULK supplies to generate enough power to invest in the first place. Nel are way ahead.

So to the answer to your question, most people have never even heard of Nel. They keep themselves to themselves and get on a do.

There are several bulk intense hydrogen projects they are involved in , Ibedrola being one to power spain !!! Watch and wait. My biggest hdi g by far is NEL. I have posted more info over there but ITM will achieve a great deal too, it is just time.

In retrospect I think ITM wish they had done what Nel have done with Heroya factory. 2 lines initially but CAD designed a 3rd processing line in for no extra cost. 24/7 automated production has started !!!
The sp will take care if itself once we get a full Q of operation.

First supplies go to the small company NIKOLA CORP with 700 fuelling stations to build a Nel providing the electrolysers and support for the 700 , so should come in somewhere around th$600-800 million for the contract.

Everfuel are expanding across the EU. They are getting some too. Details to come.

HYUNDAI Trucks 1600 being released in Switzerland all the fuelling is NEL. Watch this space.

BULK supply is KING. ITM are addessing the fact they did not go fully automated to produce 144 electrolysers A DAY like NEL.

As I gentle tried to point out STEEL prodution, Aluminium production, chemical plants, ammonia plants are screaming out for cheaper cleaner power.
An example from NEL , they are looking at Ibedrola Ammonia plant in N Spain =$800 MILLION and that is one project that will also be expanded !

Do not get too narrow minded on household bulk.
There are MANY areas in the new independant UK that will need mass electrolysers.

Another example NEL in the US using their electrolysers to help power Nuclear power stations, again a huge user of energy. I think the UK still have nuclear !?!

Wind turbines are being developed to generate and be powered by hydrogen electrolysers. Have a drive around where you live and see just how quickly this technology is expanding and will do.

Solar power is another area Hydrogen creation is being used already. Huge solar farms WILL be creators of hydrogen using electrolysers.

The potential and more likely the reason why ITM raiaed £250m in 24 hours - wow - TWO new facilities to increase supply. Now why would they do that ?

All in cost to produce battery grade lithium in the USA $4.500 approx and selling for UPWARDS of $10-12,000 PER TON.

Production of the lithium from brine is not vapour pools which typically take 12-18 months as in most of South America. Nope, Lithium Carbonate at Smackover site takes 24 HOURS ONLY. 24/7 operation from liquid brine so no drilling.

US E Mobility partner Laxness ex Bayer company are to create an E Mobility Group and to ensure supplies of DIRECT LITHIUM within the US have partnered up with Standard Lithium.
The factory starts up within days if not hours now so information on the buyer of the lithium should be very soon.

Tyson , the demo production plant literally only opened up 5-6 weeks ago. They will be testing and tweaking and will announce their first test batch amounts, grades and outlook info I guess once they are confident. Hold your horses mate, we have waited 3 years to get to this point and for me $1.40's so I am already massively up and we are only at demo stage.

Last big news PEA saw the price drop from the 11's as you pointed out on here to 8's and I topped around 9.20 after testing the base. As I said last week I was looking at 13-15.00. I took some profits at 13.30's & 13.10's. I posted I had done.
Gut to me is saying this drop is prior to good news again ? Similar to the fast rise to 11's and back to 8's.
Maybe 9-10's on no news.

Offtake and it could go towards 20-22.00 but I would be certain of 15 at worst for takeoff.

Production figures from demo plant should push 15 anyway.

Weirdly I also added to CUSN due to me wanting to see it push back above 14p. I can see 22-25p in the short term. 3 months to 2022. 2022 Cornish Lithium spin out to public company, we get shares and royalties, win win. Like with E3 an early stage but build and build and build over time is my guess. Not financial advice. CUSN same as E3 & SLI.

Don't chase E3 imho. It will pull back at some point. Was 1.80 not long ago. Now 2.60. That is a good mark up on no news, so yes a pull back is due.
Having said that Standard were up and down between 1.30-4.00. Once they had arrived at pilot to demonstration and being the 2nd to market only they hold an obvious advantage. No wonder they hit 12+. Still more to come. So I go back to E3. It will for the next 12 months go up and down probably between 1.50-3.50+ and keep on doing that ie Standard. I bought today strangely enough and with SLI profits. It had hit my target. Initial still in.
E3 just buy sub 3.00 imho. It will do an SLI in time 18-24 months.

I go back to norway. That company have the nikola contract from summer 2020 then nikola went bang. Miss managed, fraud, sp dropped through the floor, Nel said zip about it. Go check. Nada.
Then 8 weeks a go the video of the new facility came out and the ceo states when asked about the new production that nikola and everfuel ( another contract signed 2020 ) will be first up.
Nikola are on record as wanting 700 fuelling stations - nel have the supply for electrolysers but whether they are a bit shy about nikola being capable I'm not sure they really like to keep it quiet. I guess they felt burned once? Anyway 700 + whatever everfuel want is going to get shipped pretty soon.
ITM I think are in that zone of making for a large order or two which for ITM is good work.
Needing another factory indicates capacity is needed? My guess is until they have capacity the big orders are in the table and just waiting sign off.
Ibedrola ammonia project and Yara ammonia projects again from last year are high users of electrolysers. Nel had the factory coming from last year, so could sign up ? ITM may have underestimated demand and until they can cope with a big order that needs to be filled quickly then maybe they are restricted to size v time needed ?
Nel will produce 144 electrolysers per day on open. It is a huge step up to scale and tbh they need it to work as expected 24/7 fully automated.
They have 2 big steel contracts possible too but they are on epic scale, thrown on US DoE and DoDefence etc and its a hell of a lot of electrolysers needed to keep everyone happy.
ITM know something or else they would not risk expanding until the new factory is full utilised and more scale up is needed.
I wouldn't worry about the last 2 months or even 6 months. This is build build and build for them and I would suggest we build our stakes too. I guess tha fact bel can provide both types of electrolysers from the same factory helps where as ITM is one set version.

NEL HYDROGEN partner Hexagon Purus joins the work package Zero Emission Compressed Hydrogen (ZECH) which is part of the ZeroCoaster project study coordinated by Vard, a major global ship design and shipbuilding company. This study aims to research, evaluate and present zero emission ship design solutions using alternative fuel systems.

The ZeroCoaster represents coastal bulk cargo operations in Norway. Systems and component solutions revealed in the project are applicable for scaling and reconfiguring for other maritime applications.

The project study is funded by The Research Council of Norway. One of the main objectives is to evaluate and challenge bunkering technologies and logistics operations, with a focus on safety, cost, and capacity. Hexagon Purus will contribute with its knowledge and expertise in storage and distribution of compressed hydrogen gas using Type 4 composite cylinder technology.

Sharing knowledge to accelerate zero emission maritime solutions

Norway has set a target to reduce emissions with 50 % by 2030, and there is a growing national demand for zero emission vessels along the Norwegian coast. If Norway's target for cutting emissions by 2030 is to be implemented, 700 low-emission and approximately 400 zero-emission ships will be required, of these; 450 bulk and cargo ships.

This project aims to research and propose a cost competitive hydrogen value chain that can support and accelerate the transition to zero emission shipping solutions.

“We see wide benefits of working with Vard and the project partners. We have the technology needed to store and distribute compressed hydrogen in a large scale and look forward to sharing our expertise, says Håvard Stave, Technical Sales Manager Maritime, Hexagon Purus. “It is an excellent opportunity for us to learn from each other, while driving the transition to zero emission maritime applications”.

The project will be conducted using an already developed concept design platform of the ZeroCoaster cargo ship prepared by Vard. By using simulation-driven-ship-design, the project will develop economic and technical key performance indicators for the use of alternative fuels on ships.

The project is scheduled for completion by end of 2021.

Thanks bilbo. I am a bit more positive. Nel were mock for testing hydrogen on US nuclear power stations. 2 months ago they got one with US DoE backing. Don't be surprised if something comes quick than you think. Nel proved that anything with high volume coal and power use is being looked at very closely now. Fingers crossed.

LG buying in with Vulcan in Germany for Brines ! 18th July.

Brines are beginning to get a grip in the market. E3 up from $1.80 to $2.60 , Vulcan another deal and up 5%.
