Thanks Abkaz. Get the feeling its not the most popular share! Did have a quick look at the last presentation and the Thali prospect in the Niger Delta plus the Namibia acreage looked interesting enough. Was just considering it given it has a market cap of about 700k but is targeting billion barrel plus oil and directors hold a fair chunk of shares. Feel for the LTH here (had the same happen with gkp to me) but surely from these levels it could be a calculated risk. Havent invested yet though
Only noticed this share because of the large drop. Its market cap is worth less than the cash it raised so thought it might be interesting to take a look at - are the assets here any good? Reading LTH posters here sounds v negative and looks like it fails to deliver.... kinda puts me off
Feel we have a bit of a tail wind, and, ever the optimist, I'm going for 11.53 ( not an unreasonable market cap either).
Is off again...
these solid daily rises over the last 10 days or so. We haven't been at these levels share price wise for nearly 15 months so long may it continue! Increasing Gold price etc helping some love return here... we just need that wow factor rns on a GCM type situation to blow this into double figures and beyond (wishful thinking I know!)
Why is GCM up over 20% and we're down 7%!? With improvements in Oil, Gold etc recently we really should be higher
6.25 paid today too and another good rise... Lets hope sentiment has indeed turned!
He's probably had to sacrifice a weekend break away, just to show the shareholders that we're in this commodities downturn together...
Thanks for the reading info MB- that's the wife's Christmas present sorted then! Amen to that - 2016 to see things upwards. Up 12pc today so far too..nice...
Seemed to have sparked this into action...maybe getting noticed as an under value play and is doing a re rate ... Only where we were a month or so ago though... shows how far we've fallen that the potential of pushing 4p is almost exciting!
Phew! The response has been a copy and paste template which pretty much everyone gets. Nice if in 2016 there is at least a new template... And yet the results say we're worth 16-17p a share. The mind boggles.
Cheers MB. Interesting read. Lets hope that the future is bright for commodities. Agree that the POO in the short term looks bearish especially after Opec meeting last week changed nothing. Maybe though, given the lack of investment through capex cutting in new projects over the last year or so, coupled with a fall in the rig count in the US, we could start to see a rise in the oil price maybe by the middle of next year. Granted, there are different views however about the long term future of oil.
Big time! lost over half its value in a week...
http://www.investegate.co.uk/polo-resources-ltd--pol-/rns/further-update-on-signet-petroleum-distribution/201512011718196451H/ Only saw the Hibiscus deal earlier and missed this. With this, Hibiscus, Ironstone a lot to digest in the last few days. Market doesn't seem to like it...SP is lower than it was pre-consolidation! On paper Polo has to be undervalued -something just doesn't seem to make sense...
Yes...Much better. At least its different! Haven't had a chance to look over in detail yet, but like you a quick once over it looks ok. Will read more on later. Its an RNS a day at the moment... but not even 1 trade yet.. Much unloved co
Haha.. sure why not ! I mean ones which say polo has decided to return signet cash returned to shareholders or Phulbari has been given the green light. Dreaming I know... but hey why not
We've had more RNS' in the last couple of weeks than the rest of 2015...just wish they were more exciting.
2 RNS' in 10 days! Surely that merits a pay rise..ha! Issued at a premium. A small step..
Terrible! The only joke appears to be this company
Haha..Mr Grump .. I still don't understand anything you are saying?!!? But its kind of funny and light-hearted for a Friday evening (probably without intent). Its obviously some sort of code I'm supposed to decipher but alas I've failed miserably. PuksBack - I'm glad you agree - I thought for a second I'd lost the ability to understand English. Have a good w/e all... a break from the miserable world of commodities for 2 days
