I completely agree that Egdon shareholders should be writing in support of the application. If you have not done so please do so by following the link.
Your posts are alarmist and unhelpful. It seems that you have an agenda to drive down the SP.
Is the increase just associated with anticipation of Wressle? Any other reasons for the SP Increase?
Explain please. Thanks.
If you believe that the gold market is on the up and that the combined efforts of Amara and Perseus are going to be more fruitful than the status quo then IMO you should hold. This may rise significantly both up to and beyond 15th.
Shareholders who use "The Share Centre" will still be able to hold and deal in the shares should the merger with Perseus goes through.
I guess bb will float Barbican on the market?
I do not see this deal as being in the interests of the shareholders
I like ALK very much and have been caught out by the SP drop. Question. With the fixed price agreements in advance for peak demand supply etc. If the demand is not as great as anticipated is it correct to assume that the Grid needn't buy from ALK until they reach a critical point having exhausted cheaper suppliers first of which I guess there are more now that the oil price has dropped?
Thank you for the correction with regard to gas purchase, not oil. Does anyone else know the basis of gas purchase price for Alk?
If Alk purchase Oil to turn into electricity and then sell it at prearranged (pre Oil price drop) prices it seems to me that their profit margin will increase. Right? The SP drop surely relates to the Oil Price drop which comes from ALKs 20% share of Egdon. That is oblique therefore I expect the SP to increase in the medium term.
People selling Alk and buying IGAS?? Should buy both.
more posts from Bazz and Kenstaff please
Looking forward to ALK taking off! Much appreciating BaysilHope and Kenstaff comments.
Thanks for the comprehensive reply. Very helpful.
Anyone know what proportion of the licenses Alk sold. i.e I know they sold 10. How many do they have left and are there more deals to come? I really like Alk's focus on core business with their seemingly win win approach to exploiting the shale play with minimal risk and still a decent level of engagement. I can only see upside in the medium/long term.
This share could go up as quickly as it came down. Noticed you on this bb before cos we are namesakes. I'm in Thailand and there is a huge amount of gold being bought here.
