May be I am wrong but the 30th deadline is for companies with a year end of 31st October, QDE's year end is 31st December so June update? In amongst all the chat remember its quite a simple model but could take a lot longer yet! Build data - improve valuation - partners. So all depends on what further proof the potential partners are asking for before committing to meaningful upfront cash! And in the meantime how much will it cost to build that extra data?

Maybe, but after the perf they will probably shut in the well for 24hrs up to 3 days to see how the formation reacts and pressure build up, drop off etc. It would be great to get news during this period if pressures stabilised with no sudden drop offs etc. All speculation at the moment. But hoping for news late this week or early next. GLA

IMO they have not run the perf yet, as no nice update post as they have with every other phase. I think we might get a post when perf successful and well shut in? All IMO of course

It's standard practice, to go for the lower zone first, operationally test best target first, prove commerciality. Also if you perf the upper zone first you take the risk of crossflow between the zones or masking the performance of the lower zone.

Great RNS, at this early stage it is not about the added MW so much, it is proving the concept that QDE can repeatedly finance & build projects quickly and within budget, replicating the Bordesley model, although obviously difficult and they will need to look at larger assets it does demonstrate the 300MW target is feasible.

The longer it goes on, I am getting scared of seeing a red dot, how long is that million going to last without a partner?

@Cyrox exactly mate, lets get the near term positives out the way first and sure up the commerciality of the field. Then we can start looking at the market for it.
