What exactly is Napsters involvement with Sonos?
Might get to the 4.4p strike price for our options one day, not the HL have ever credited them to my account.
Melody were also streaming 2D paid for shows along with Live Nation, see the Liam Gallagher gig, that’s what’s changed, they’ve realised MelodyVR are a bunch of wasters and have decided they will do it themselves.
Really, Live Nation are going it alone, that’s the final straw for me, going to get rid of these jokers without losing too much ASAP
Still not been credited my options by HL, only reason to look in, like Groundhog Day, senile old folk talking to themselves.
Napster has 3 million paying subscribers, now added to that will be the MVR catalogue of shows and hopefully some of John Gores shows, so straight away unless they increase costs people are getting more bang for their buck.
I currently pay Apple £9.99/m and will definitely be changing over to Napster when the VR stuff is added.
I’m hoping Live Nation take a bigger stake, as I believe it’s them that have kick started this company with the now monetised shows, if they start doing these weekly then the sky is the limit.
Now at Number 11
Strangely the LG gig is no longer on the app, thought it would be available to buy tbh
Clashed with my football team but I’d won a free ticket, watched four songs at half time on my phone and it was absolutely superb, by far the best thing MelodyVR have done, shame it wasn’t in VR but must have sold a shed load, and on reviews and LGs xmas number one will continue to do so.
Yes me too, though a bit disappointed with the outcome, I expected that the LG gig would become available on my planner and would be as simple as watching on TV.
It isn’t, the gig is available on the app on my phone so I can watch it on my headset or cast it to a TV, but was hoping for the less tech savvy, basically 99% of the country it would be a case of just watching it on a sky vip channel.
To get it on your TV via sky, first download the MySky App onto your phone or device and go to the VIP section where it’s clearly advertised, you can enter the draw to win free tickets or just buy a ticket from there. I presume once bought it will appear in your planner on your TV.
Fantastic but the Liam Gallagher gig isn’t in VR, it’s just a 2D screening shown by MelodyVR
Yes I agree totally that needing a headset right now really meant they were never likely to get a massive audience, even watching on your phone or laptop wasn’t ideal tho definitely helped. The sky vip deal is fantastic news and opens up a massive audience base, just hope MVR are getting a good cut. Ideally and a little bit selfishly I’d like to watch this gig in VR on my headset as only watched the freebies so far, paid for a Steve Mason track but nothing else compelled me to buy as yet.
Obviously I just want to make money like everyone else but I bought in all those years ago initially around 18p because I thought it sounded like a great idea, thank hod Live Nation got involved.
Hopefully a large amount of the money goes to MVR if you purchase through Sky VIP, I’d hoped to watch on my phone carrying headset but at £21.99 and not even in in VR I may as well get it on the TV.
I’m hoping Live Nation or Facebook take a bigger controlling stake in MVR, they both have products inherently involved in the success and both are proven winners, think that’s the only realistic way we can challenge Spotify and Apple Music for subscribers going forward.
Napster has 3m paying subscribers at £10/m, now MVR are generating revenue as well it will certainly be interesting to see what price it does open at, surely not 4.3p, you’d imagine a whole lot higher.
It is disappointing that it’s £21.99 on the App, as that’s where I want to buy it to guarantee it’s on the actual App that’s on my phone that will be put inside my headset for viewing.
Certainly enthused MelodyVR have at last started to get well known artists who will sell tickets, just expected they would be asking for a tenner, file alongside the ppv own goal in terms of pricing. Even a fiver would surely ensure millions of sales and people buying shows of artists they don’t know that well.
Hopefully they do a subscription model as it sounds like Napster is built on that, and maybe have three price points for music, VR, Theatre
Have the app on my phone and a VR headset, was going to purchase the LG show but it’s nowhere to be seen on the app.
I know it’s £16 and not live as seen pictures of him on this barge a few days ago, very odd it’s not available via the app.
Whilst perusing Facebook an advert for Gorillaz streaming concerts came to my attention, looked absolutely amazing with the cartoon characters incorporated and thought what a great experience that would be in VR, alas no mention of MelodyVR.
Hope they announce some more Brixton shows soon, ideally one I’d be interested in watching and happy to pay for.
After 4 years I’ve taken the lot out, wil buy back if they announce funding, the resident lunatic on here is second only to jonesrichard as the most deluded poster I’ve ever come across on these forums.
Old bands aren’t tribute acts, tribute acts are different people pretending to be an act.
