For interest, the above is a similar scale project at Jubilee but for PGM so only getting around $900 per ounce, similar production costs so 200-300$ profits.
Interestingly they are making twice the revenues that Kat is proposing to make, their trading statement was released today. They are trading at MC of £400m with a PE of 85.... suppose this is because of the gold bull run! Kat is currently worth 1/100th their MC.
S.P I have at least averaged down to get my average to 1.5p now. It's a pity that most of us LTH are just looking to break even and get out without a profit for our troubles, LC has definitely wasted our time with all his false promises.
@JD check this company also in SA

Up and running within a few months of signing deals.
Aah I didn't even read that, well half everything I said then!?? $50m for kibo IF this gets up and running.
I dont know JD, LC has said many a time that things are well advanced only for it to be 3 years later with still no progress lol.
Tailings projects are all above ground and usually take a couple months to set up, in SA probably a lot faster than the rest of Africa!
$900 on an ounce equates to about $1.5m monthly on the initial production, so $18m per annum.
Production is planned to double so I think we can apply a PE ratio of 10 to the initial production numbers. This will give us a MC of £216m. Adding £100m to Kibos market cap.
All pie in the sky of course until Louise takes his finger out and produces the 1st ounce. Good news in all though.
This is huge news. Looking at Jubille with their Platinum tailings projects and healthy MC of 81m (platinum price not that great too). Gold tailings should be hell of a lot more valuable looking at the Gold price. Big question as always, how long till production/commercialisation? When up and running this should be worth multiple of Kibos current SP. One consolation today is that we got to rinse through quite a lot of shares...
Yep, nothing to suggest otherwise at the moment - LC has himself to blame so far but still has time to prove us wrong. The market seems to have little confidence in him at the moment though. Let's give him the last few weeks of the year before we have another go at him. Maybe he will stick to his word...
