RE: Genuine holders Do your own research7 Nov 2022 13:29
Good post by someone today
The facts
There will always be Rampers, day traders, shorters and holders : all are needed to make the markets.
Ignore the non fact posts.
Cine has settled with a circa 150% rise for the reason which is awesome that they have had a big step towards NOT going bankrupt.
Will it climb to 20p, likely as it was a vertical drop and will be over sold if cine now shows/proves the next step which needs to be solid information they are 100% out of the bankruptcy circle.
Will it go to 30 to 50p only if the restructuring is solid and the market can see that a decent film slates are ahead and cash flow should be positive near term
Anything more than this is a longer term hold which may be driven by sentiment but it's not going to a pound just yet. Those who want multi bags, hold and be patient stop selling out of hear if you can afford to hold your money.
The risk is if everything falls apart, and they go bankrupt which is unlikely now and the reward at this price seems to be worth the risk
Yes, all about timing here, did not buy 100p, 50p or 20p as no lender support, but now...as they are warming up to £1.9billion liquidity....why not..? timing
I will let go when insiders sell or we get bad news....for now the its a huge development that they are reaching £1.9b settlement with the lenders for further loans and have plans to sell/spin-off part of the business etc. etc.
The debt is short and long term - so they can easily make payments now until 2025.
Insider hold 275M shares:
The Greidinger family has confirmed that it beneficially owns 275,720,505 shares in Cineworld (representing 20.08% of the total issued share capital of Cineworld): 1,000,000 shares are owned by a company called Global City Holdings B.V. and 274,720,505 shares are owned by a company called Global City Theatres B.V. Both Global City Holdings B.V. and Global City Theatres B.V. are owned by trusts for the benefit of the children of Moshe Greidinger and Israel Greidinger. The ultimate ownership of the shares by the Greidinger family trusts did not change in 2020 or 2021 or subsequently.
All main media agrees this is big development for CINE and some work still to to reach 100p's again - But then again the price wont be under 20p once work is done.
Good accumulation again today buying off some one(s) :)
