Super news out from
@MkangoResources
#MKA and
@CoTecCorp
$CTH:
HyProMag USA enters into a feedstock supply and pre-processing site share agreement with global electronics recycling company, Intelligent Lifecycle Solutions.
ILS will secure and store NdFeB feedstock from hard disk drives and other sources for HyProMag USA at the two pre-processing sites (in Nevada and South Carolina), using Inserma's 3rd generation HDD magnet separation system. Inserma and HyProMag already have an exclusive partnership in place.
Some key lines in the RNS:
"HyProMag USA is targeting HDD recycling geared to the growth of hyperscale data centers."
"Other NdFeB feedstock sources being successfully processed to date by HyProMag include rotors from electric motors, wind turbine magnets, speaker assemblies and MRIs."
"The Supply Agreement is expected to be the first in several supply agreements to be entered into by HyProMag USA."
"We believe that over time we will be able to build sufficient feedstock to sustain several magnet recycling and manufacturing hubs as the Company establishes itself as a key player in the US REE magnet industry."
"Lifecycle Solutions will be using our infrastructure to procure nationally rare earth material from government, manufacturing, and businesses as well as other recycling sources."
......
Supply agreements such as these will facilitate the onboarding of equity investors for HyProMag USA (if even required!), and heighten the likelihood of government grants.
A reminder that just one of these hubs (and two pre-processing sites) in operation (which is HyProMag's initial plan) achieves an NPV of $593m - and that's before the optimization (lower costs, lower upfront capex?) of the ongoing Detailed Engineering Phase.
MKA's 40% non-dilutable free carry in this first project of HyProMag USA's equates to $237m, or circa 53p per share.
And today, the CoTec CEO reiterates the JV partners' goal of eventually having "several" such hubs in operations across the US. [In a recent interview, he already informally alluded to a combined NPV of $1.8bn across three such hubs.]
