I wonder how it works for these pumpers are they given a list of companies and dates to pump, if they knew of a rns before the market that would be insider trading surely,

It is amazing what is blurry legal with stocks in the aim,

I cant see that they just continuously search stocks day after day for a rns update only to pump. Crazy world we live in.

Haha I see what you mean John never heard of most of these new commenters, a new RNS and boom here they are almost like it is organised. Very early in the news release interesting how many have spotted it already and are trying to pump it up.

The Uruguayan government has already pointed out in a press release a few months back when environmental activists started threaten court action protecting the waters, they only want to assess oil reserves at present to see if it can be harnessed to improve the economy in the future.

One thing i have found interesting recently is regarding the BRICS agreement between some countries majors and minors. Looking at a currency backed by commodities in 2025 onwards, the aim is to have something to counter the dollar which can’t be ceased because it is held in the country own borders and be backed by a BRICs members own commodity reserves.

Uruguay is a BRICs member from 2015, this push to have oil blocks worked on maybe to do with this, worth keeping a eye on as they really would not want this asset exploited as it would back their currency reserve in this new monetary system coming in the future

They may work it in to ways one show evidence of it in 3D seismic and use that, or they may have to exploit it so it is on hand physically to back the currency, much like gold reserves in banks.

Just a thought for any investors unaware.

GG - but in that he didn’t reveal the full story about Uruguay the government there has not given permission to drill, they have actually stated they want to see what potential there is like a bank checking the vault, no intention on spending those resources yet. Regardless if a major comes onboard a blow to this stock could be… we aren’t allowed to drill!

I listened to the interview, I don’t think he can John another funding round would crush this stock, he can’t consolidate its shows the company is in distress if done at these low levels, all he can do is wait and work on the tasks he spoke about, production increases sound like they aren’t happing now Trinidad has broke even and is self funding only really he said not much cash excess is coming from that, cost cutting was his main tool right now and selling off sites. He did slip in there is enough cash till farm out which he highlighted 6 months to early next year.

So I had a listen to the podcast on Vox with Eytan, noticed a couple of things firstly complete focus on Uruguay and no mention at all of production in current assets being increased,

Also now he says majors are calling and wanting to talk partnership but he is delaying as he doesn’t have anything to partner on just yet, he also spoke of 15 million 3D seismic he would look for the partner to pay for in return for a percentage of the licence. But mentioned this would be next year now so changed again in time scale. The 6 month time windows, sure get stretched every time he does an interview.

Best thing to watch out for right now is earnings if CEG hits or surpasses its earnings estimate then I will believe Eytan has got the right prospective on the future and has learnt from the past.

My broker shows it as a high 0.1295 yesterday, close today bang on 0.1100 today, that’s down 15% from the high yesterday, in technical terms on the daily we didn’t breach our previous high 0.1315 made in Feb, this is not a good sign on the boost from the rns news and looks like we will head lower before going up. Fits with the old saying sell in May and go away, tomorrow will be the decider, if we can push above Feb high then that is good

If we clear 0.1500 tomorrow then that is very positive for this stock going into may and I would believe, we are in a disbelief rally to the next major resistance line,

What was the high yesterday?

In real terms willec we are 11% down from yesterday,
We also have a gap opened up at 0.1005 that hasn’t been filled yet,

Your quite comical willec, it seems like you carry the weight of this stock on your shoulders. Odd you talk of patience from what I can see most investors here have held for 10 years, i personally think they have been amazingly patient. I have held for 2 years now myself, patience isn’t the issue, a ceo of a company looking for fast gains is the issue and the market isn’t falling from claims without results anymore. His focus has changed from a balanced one to let’s pump this with talk.
Earnings in June will be the current influence on this stock not Uruguay and let’s hope they don’t delay filing again.
To try to insult others investors makes you seem desperate, I haven't heard anything technical regards this stock from you only pump details spraffed from the boardroom.
At the end of the day I can see the narrative from very bearish when I first invested to being pushed out to one of bullish talk, the sentiment is changing towards the stock gradually.

I don’t think I have ever witnessed such a rally fizzle on a prospective promising Rns like this.
Maybe Eytan should go back to production increasing and cash flow Rns instead of Uruguay push, the market has shown no taste for this type of hype right now, the old magic has lost its sparkle.
