So using a products like Byotrol that contains Qac's that is shown to trigger the growth of drug resistant bugs in the environment is good thing , I think not, read report done by Warwick University in 2009 that show QAC's are not helping the world, Byotrol is suppose to help fight bugs not make them resistant. Also a very good point i would like to make , QAC's not good a killing off Gram-negative bacteria, so why will people use products that don't work on all Microorganisms , People need to make an informed decision, but how can they when companies hold back information. Snrsanks : please help me on one thing would you use Byortrol on your fish pond? if you don't answer i will know why. http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2009/mar/29/detergents-drug-resistant-bacteria
Microcyn Technology and how something so amazing as an antimicrobial (kills H1N1, MRSA and more in less than 30 seconds...yet safe enough to use around eyes, nose and mouth) can also be so safe and simple. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDjZpFQ75ew Sorry to say Byotrol can't claim the above has to many chemicals like QACS
got my Divi today ,
Does any one know why this so gone up so much in the last few days
Maybe it because they know what’s in Byotrol and they are worried that the ingredients will become resistant. Especially QAC's (Quaternary ammonium compounds) one of the ingredients in Byotrol. QACs are fungicidal and bactericidal (less so against Gram-negative bacteria, but not sporicidal or tuberculocidal, and they show variable activity against viruses. They are inactivated by soaps, anionic detergents and organic matter. why did i buy these , should have sold when Stephen Falder sold, did he know something? Does any one know why the drop?
Great News for Byotrol, Now the share should start moving north. please add the link Can you help Greenshoot , trying to find the Coshh sheets for these new products , can't seem to find them anywhere. If could you ask Mr .Falder when you see him, to add them to the website. Consumers need to know what chemicals are in these new unique products. I would want to use these products and the find out they had some nasty ingredients. Has anyone seen Coshh sheets for these new products, please send links
I think he's done this already with NHS & HPA , but NHS don't want a product with a barrier. Byotrol now moving into personnel hygiene products for Animals and Humans , That's why the bought Byofresh
Yes same person appointed on the 22 June 2009. in the hope IDS can open some closed doors, http://www.sharecrazy.com/share2607share/share.php?disp=news&epic=BYOT&news_item=090622byot000836.htm Very Clever move by Byotrol Board.
Looks like Byotrol loses out big time on NHS prestigious award, http://www.bioquell.co.uk/News.asp?pid=591&id=200
Tom Bulford of Red Hot Penny Shares has recommended a sell on gossip he heard from a "rival company." something going on here , we have to wait & see
TBHatti, I agree with you if they can get into the Food industry they may have a chance, But looking at one of the active ingredients (as a Biochemist) I would have to think twice. 2-Phenylphenol (Cas: 90-43-7) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2-Phenylphenol is a food preservative E231 as It’s one of the chemicals that the Hyperactive Children's Support Group recommends be eliminated from the diet of children. Now this all depends on the amount they use in Byotrol solution. CAS: 90-43-7 Research has also shown that it’s Toxic to aquatic organisms http://www.pesticideinfo.org/Detail_Chemical.jsp?Rec_Id=PC33048 - Ecotoxicity And it’s reported too be Carcinogen http://www.pesticideinfo.org/Detail_Chemical.jsp?Rec_Id=PC33048 - Toxicity And this is only 1 of a few chemicals in Byotrol If Biocide companies were a bit more informative about their active ingredients, consumers could make an informed decision, But do they really want you to know or just interested making profits and take no environmental responsibility. I always advice DYOR
WisheyeB , Slow start no, maybe its because Byotrol has problems in the Dairy Market as it may cause problems with the rubber used in udder milking , also NHS wont use a product thats use's a biofilm because it give a false sense of security, look at Activ8 has been tested by HPA & NHS much better product the Byotrol , www.greenbridge.cc/activ8.html. But NHS wont use it , ask your self why ? Even Tristel's a better product www.tristel.com/ Look at the active ingredient of byotrol and you will see why, the Disinfectant side of Byotrol is not very good , A disinfectant does not work correctly when a cleaning or biofilm agent is added to it , NHS infection control policy says clean fist then disinfect.
