An offer would be made and a shareholders vote would be taken at an egm. The offer would be made when the BOD know they have a majority of shareholders in favour guaranteed to pass the motion. That shouldn't be too difficult with CRV. Hopefully this won't happen but anything is possible on A im. Look at Gulfsands today.
I would be very careful going on too much about the lack of news from the Board. We are a pretty small minority and it would be very easy for the board to snuff us out completely by taking the company private. If this was to happen there is a very good chance that the take out price would be very low...and probably just before major positive news comes out. Vociferous minorities are not welcome.
Good trade of 702 shares? Lost around 1K in two hours. Not a punters stock. MM's are in total control until volumes improve. Of course lack of liquidity was supposed to be improved with the share consolidation.!! The exact opposite has happened.
Where did the stock they purchased come from? Must be one of the larger investors and we should have another RNS today or tomorrow to confirm who. Where is it possible to buy another sizable lump other than from one of our long term holders? Certainly no chance in the market. Never the less the purchase can only be seen as positive for private shareholders who have so little to go on when evaluating CH.
From The PG-AB website : Publicly traded investments PGAB mostly invest in small-cap-companies, predominantly in Sweden and the UK. Most often PGAB aim to establish a position as the largest shareholder in the companies in which we invest, our investment profile is typically that of a proactive investor. PGAB traditionally prefer to invest in industrial entities, we are typically long term holders, and also involved in strategic development within the companies in which we invest.
Very interested to hear any info on the court case. Thanks to those doing the legwork and keeping us up to date. I have been invested here for over 5 years and always watch BB's but hardly ever post. I have a decent holding and have no intention of selling. My only concern is that the Directors try to take out the minority holdings at a ridiculously low level. Little can be done to stop them if they are so inclined. Back to watching and waiting. Thanks again to those responsible for the up dates.
Hi I would be grateful for any information from the AGM. Please send to my email address if a report is forthcoming. I'm sure everyone truly thanks Scargs for going to the trouble and expense of attending. Good luck all. Looks as though seller has finished if post below is to be believed
I assume the SP is now quoted in $US and not sterling. Could someone confirm please. It makes quite a difference. Assuming it is $US how is settlement effected? Do we receive payment in $US and if so do we need a $US bank account. Can we elect to receive payment in sterling from the broker?
