0g888 - as you have only a few hundred to invest due to dealing costs you cannot diversify and spread your risk too much. Are you able to invest more gradually or are you looking to take a punt and hope you make some money? Investing less than 100 in any stock is pointless as dealing costs will eat any profit. Stick to OBT and study them closely. They have a chequered past and strange Chairman but have recently added a higher calibre team of Directors and this seems to be paying off. However it is AIM and still a bit of a gamble but with huge upside potential. Do your homework and study as BBN suggests other companies both good and bad. Good luck and do not believe all you read on here.

og888 - If you have only purchased a small number then stick with it. But do your own research and ignore most posts on here. AIM is a very tricky market and not for the faint hearted. Another nice small company worth a look at is GOLDPLAT plc. Again do your own research. On AIM you can make big gains and huge losses. I have shares in Paragon Diamonds which is currently suspended due to funding problems and poor management. If your bank is limited - stick to a handful of shares and invest for longterm not day trading.

I tried and failed to buy 100,000 at 4.25p managed to only get 20000. Then got another 20000 at 4.4ish. Won't take much to shift things upwards?

Hi BBN - nice sensible comment. We will just have to wait and see. I originally had Half Mil OBT but now down to 120,000 but finally feel a better sense of direction from the management.

Schoolboy - nice research and it is true that OBT has recreated itself. Forestry spin off would create the cash to expand agriculture divisions. I am sitting on a huge loss and sold 75% of my holding but the remaining 100,000 shares could salvage things for me and I am optimistic.

Nice comment Chameleon - at last GDP has turned the corner with better management and the price of gold is shifting North at least for the last few days and has now hit 1100. Yes it is interesting but also mentions the 3 mines expected to be in production specifically but not details of Lemphane. I would take the part about PRG having recently purchased Mothae with a pinch of salt. Seems more like old news to me but would of course love to be proved wrong.
