Interesting question Dietch666, not that long tbh. We can safely assume that it's an asset that Eurasia have done block modelling and open pit optimisation plans on as per the Rosgeo JV RNS. Eurasia and Rosgeo have explored the asset now, Rosgeo did a feasibility study on it. It's already a highly explored asset.

People should be talking about that beauty of a Eurasia move there, Nyud is a very large asset, millions of Palladium eqv ounces instantly added to the balance sheet, and throw in Nickel, Copper, and Rhodium anomalies on top for good measure.

Added with the first Rosgeo JV asset addition. All open pit so very easy to develop for Eurasia mining and toll treat the ore at the original planned processing plant at MT. The plan is physically starting to take shape now, absolutely beautiful to witness.

Fundamentals have took a massive change with the addition of Nyud, also note the bit which mentions gaining Rosgeo's 25% to take it to a 100% owned asset at some point. 75% is good for now, but 100% is better at a later point.

"Astonished at the lack of buying" - It's went on that long that most are probably at their 'fully loaded' point, that will arrive at different levels for each person depending on their own views of risk vs reward, how much powder they're willing to throw at any one thing etc. For most now it's just a waiting game, ii's appear to still be grabbing what they can as we wait for the big news to drop.

The work was with the Anglo JV, they had an exploration license at the time which covered far larger areas. 36km2 approx for Monchetundra, the area that Eurasia has managed to get back via the original MT assets and that Rosgeo JV. Volchetundra, which was around 210km2 on the old Anglo JV license. When that JV collapsed due to Anglo leaving to focus on Platinum dominant plays in South Africa, it left Eurasia in a position to have to gradually apply for and get back those original license areas. Exact same thing at WK, wk has always been the smaller blue print of how they would expand back into the area around Monchegorsk, just the Rosgeo JV has accelerated that expansion. The Russian Gov itself also didn't waste any time with Monchegorsk once Anglo left, they immediately started their own feasibility studies on the area, as both the gov and eurasia have progressed since then a beautiful working relationship has clearly developed, with constant strong communication between the 2 sides in order to get the district to production in the most efficient manner imho.
Everything we're seeing now, the tsnigri report, asset disposal and head into Rosgeo JV assets has all been worked out between all parties, it has to have been, the gov own the land, they simply give out licenses to explore and extract any resources there.

Licenses are held in Russian subsidiaries, it is in effect a disposal of the percentage ownership of the subsidiary for Eurasia -

Some see any delay as a negative, i see them as a positive at this stage. Metal prices are nice and high, the revolution has moved on leaps and bounds, lots of talk about super cycles, these things all add pressure on the buyer to dig deep with forming their offer. LOI received in May as the appropriate asset/s sale chosen to move forward with.

oldspursfan, a rights issue could be something possible at some stage, lots of rich investors from a large divi would be highly likely to participate in it, i know i would. In a Rosgeo JV to production scenario it becomes a no brainer to participate to be fair, securing your slice of the larger available pie.

These assets are only in a limited supply globally, 3 clusters, South Africa, US and Canada border, and ours at the Russian and Finland border.
