It's quite possible that something big could land after hours today, we've seen a few of the bigger news drops land this way which gives the whole weekend to look over them.

JORC and several transaction details are not far away at this stage.

Yeah, come on STB, why on earth would you think that?. You have to provide something reasonable to back up your case, there is nothing out there which suggests this will take 6 months, nothing at all. Quite the opposite tbh, they have done everything which is required to sign the paperwork and transfer the cash, well, other than putting it to our vote that is, but, that's a trivial thing to do as the signatures will fly onto the paper very rapidly when they show us the huge deal specifics.

Literally only a few tiny little things left to do here, for Dmitry, UBS, DLA Piper and all of the rest, it is an absolute cakewalk from this point in time, they are advancing the transactions as per todays great news -

I was looking for the valuewalk link earlier for miners and mining assets, but, it no longer appears to be on the internet. Even my earlier posted link to it from months back simply takes you to their website. They must have taken it down.

UBS, Eurasia and the buyer will all know exactly what each aspect is worth. DD for the buyer is essential as a 1Moz in ground difference can make a significant difference to the valuation and what they end up paying. They know what's in the ground, they have to in order for their DD to be complete for the final valuation assessment before payment!

That's where Wardell Armstrong come in. An agreed third party specialist company to do the JORC, both buyer and seller being satisfied with the work done by WA. They're internationally renowned.

It would appear that they have indeed been waiting on certain info to complete due diligence, due to us all waiting on the JORC for all areas you could guess that has been the cause of the delay. It's logical, at a 'for sale' point the BOD gain maximum value by having the JORC's on resources done.

There is still the possibility that some is being sold and some taken to production, whether Eurasia take some to production themselves or via a JV is open to debate. The several transactions is the most interesting point at this stage, it implies sales to different parties.

The details can't be far away at this stage, May's buyer is evidently more than happy after their due diligence.
