Surely the prospect of a profit large enough to attract capitol gains tax is the least of anyone's worries at this stage?

CP has suggested the company will be relisted in Q1 2019, but he has promised a great deal to date and delivered nothing. I sincerely hope everyone gets their money back one way or another, but I would have thought that anyone gaining enough to have tax implications would be laughing all the way to the bank?!

marineville - I can understand your frustration!

Nobody in their right mind could deny that on paper there is huge value here, however there are no guarantees, particularly with AIM being what it is, that this will be reflected in the SP anytime soon. Even a NAV clearly stating the value of the THC deal is unlikely to drive a sustained rise (I've seen companies trading at a third of NAV & less than cash in the bank). This share has become incredibly illiquid and hence hard to trade. What is needed is for it to reach a wider audience and attract far greater interest. Getting on the LSE riser's board simply attracts very short-term profit seekers and people who are prepared to hold medium to long term are what is needed. Whether and how that can be achieved are the elephant in the room.

In the meantime it would not surprise me to see even lower lows as disillusioned holders lose patience. The SP has fallen so far over the last 18 mths it seems inconceivable that it will not now complete the journey to where it started pre-2017 spike/bubble I can still see the potential for it to bag, but reluctantly have to admit that is more likely to be a brief spike from 4p to 8p than any meaningful gain.

As far as TA goes, we have at least broken north of the long-term descending resistance that has for so long dominated the share. There looks to be strong support at 5.25p and if it does retest the 'floor' then it will hopefully only be a brief dip below that support.

One might say what we need is news, but history has surely proven otherwise... I have rarely seen a company with such consistently outstanding news be so severely punished by the market.

As things stand they look to be at very real risk of going under in which case yes a valuation of £15m is clearly ridiculous when in such an event it would be worth less than nothing. The cash on hand, although considerable, is irrelevant imho as they are committed to the purchase of new aircraft which far exceeds this.

Your assumption that I am a shorter or so called deramper with an agenda are entirely incorrect. In my experience assumptions are highly risky when trading (such as a falling share will always bounce) and best avoided.

Should an unfavourable rns land at this stage a further 40% drop is not inconceivable, whereas the upside seems extremely limited unless they manage to turn the company around which, even if successful, will take considerable time.

In the meantime, despite daily volatility, a gradual drift into single figures seems inevitable imho

I'm guessing you've just bought in expecting a rise & there may indeed be some volatility to exploit, but have you looked at longer timescale charts?

I haven't updated the last weekly chart I posted for some time as nothing's changed, but there is a clear downtrend with no sign of a reversal imho...

3 months from Now would indeed take us into February.

NAV that includes THC should be interesting but is expected so might not be the driving force for a rise - perhaps a surprise regarding CAP will get this going?

There is no meaningful support at 4.7 that I can identify micksnags, hence the next support (if current support fails) is likely to be 'psychological support' at 4p imho

By studying the data of 'what's happened' it is sometimes possible to identify the parameters within which the algos are controlling SP movements (typically shown as trend lines on a chart)... by extending these the likely extent of future volatility can then be gauged.

Nothing is certain but the data is an accurate recording of sentiment over time and human behaviour is prone to habit hence the presence of recurring patterns - the 'bubble' being a particularly common one on AIM

My understanding is that SP movements are controlled by computer algorithms SoulDoubt... when there is rapid over-inflation (spike/bubble) this is usually followed by a 'market correction' in the form of a linear descending trend effectively capping any subsequent highs. In my experience this parameter usually stays in force until 'normality' is resumed, following which there can sometimes be a reversal.

You are. of course, absolutely right fingersinpies & I wouldn't be in the least surprised by a rise - however, as mentioned previously, I'd expect it to be brief and in the inconceivable event it breaks that formidable descending resistance I'll happily eat my chart!

As things stand, from a TA perspective, there is no end to the current downtrend in sight so distinctly possible imho; but if there is one thing that is certain, on AIM in particular, it is that nothing is certain!
