Maybe it is because Ameriprise Financial are trying to sell the remainder of their stake in the company. The last RNS said they still had 2.7%

Guess we need to wait for Ameriprise Financial to sell the remainder of their 2.7% stake before we get the next move up. A year ago they had over 9% but have been selling down since.

Feels like the market makers want to keep it down

Feels like a big chunk of stock is about to cross the market at around 75p.

I warned long ago that the CEO was a moron and the company on a fast track to administration.

On April 18th we had a positive trading statement from the Rank. But the shares only moved higher after a line of over 20m shares was traded in the 70p region on April 29th. Then after this seller was cleared the shares rose to the mid-90p region. It was at this time that Guoline increased their holding to 60pct from 57pct.

Clearly there is a large block of shares which is about to be sold at a pre-agreed price in the 70-75p region. The same thing happened in April

Feels like there is a big seller who is about to be cleared. As was the case back in April when that line of 23m shares was sold at 70p to the major shareholder. After that it moved up to over 90p.

There is a definite increase in trading volume this morning. Is this ahead of the results? The valuation of Rank shares seems rather low.

Pre-Covid, Rank traded on average at 6.5x EV/EBITDA. If it returned to such a valuation, the shares would be at 150p.

Where could Rank stock go if the results are good? 75p? 80p?

Rank shares are barely in positive territory.

Zhevago's stake is of no concern to us. The key is that the Ukrainian government does not allow western shareholders to get screwed by some local oligarch. It would be most unfortunate if they did after all the support we have given them in their dispute with Russia.

FXPO shares feel like they are about to break out on the upside. Next stop would be 72p.
