Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
BTW I am also in the profit, well above 40% returns... but this is not the issue...
amadan, what I am saying is that I would have expected them (BLR) to have known that there was or would be another hand in this. As such the specifics they gave should have reflected this. It is simply not an excuse to operate that way. If you are not 100% sure don't give specifics, I and most people would live with that. If you give specifics and then turn around and not just revise your earlier estimation, which would be understandable, but leave people with an open-ended scenario of when you would actually deliver is school-boy behaviour and not acceptable at this level...
Yes they did come out and gave specifics about when they would be ready to announce. I find it difficult to understand how reasonable people can take these issues of such market importance so lightly!! You would have thought that in those 10-20 days, they would have factored in any unforeseen circumstances; this is just the least you can expect surely. What we have now ended up with, from specifics, is an open-ended expectation of news. Absolutely unacceptable and this is just taking investors for a ride. This is the difficult we face in the world today: - The most remarkable of stupid people responsible for decisions that affect so many people.
Corus accepted the offer and sent the letter of notification to share holders which gave them the option to accept either cash at 450 per share or some sort of loan arrangement. Well if you held CS., you would be thinking, why do I wait to receive 450 when I can sell now and get 470? People started selling and..... ALL ALONG CSN HAD BEEN LYING LOW AND WAITING. The sp was down to aroung 460, just 10 over Tata's offer. IT WAS TIME FOR CSN to strike and strike they did and they needed not empty their accounts, just 15p + current Makert SP and 25p over Tata's offer and the game was on... But that was not the end of it. CSN knew that on announcing their offer the SP would certainly shoot up and shoot up it did to well over 500. They also knew that Tata had to raise their game significantly to get back into the contest (MOST TAKE OVERS OFFER A BID ABOVE CURRENT MARKET SP)... The ball is now in your court, I hear CSN saying!!!
This stock at this sp is a bargain and certainly there is potential for high returns especially with the mind games being played around this stock... Given the current poor performance of this business, it is clear that any potential buyer might wish to lie low and wait, for now, to see if the sp could drift a little futher down. You would wish to save as much money to inject in turning the business around. But as noted by LaNetro, it is unlikely that any potential bidder who may show up would be the only one as demonstrated by LaNetro themselves, "....LaNetro Zed said in a stockmarket filing that it no longer plans to launch a formal takeover for the company, unless a third party intervenes...." A case in point, Tata offered 450 for CS. Corus sp soured to 470p+.
This is certainly going to be one of the top performers this year, At this price, it is a bargain. I suggest you get in before you are priced out of any profits...
Carphone warehouse issued very positive trading update this morning highlighting continued strong numbers in both the retail and telecom. TP = 350.0
I have just made my last trades this year, top up on CMR, IBB, SAR, RIFT. These represent a bright future moving into 2007 in my view. Keep an eye on these - IN MY VIEW THESE ARE MUST HAVE ON THE PORTIFOLIO. WISH YOU ALL A PRODUCTIVE NEW YEAR 2007.
Yes.. but the better part of that release is below 'We are currently ahead of schedule and expect to be in a position to make further positive announcements shortly.'
Tashlaka Main The recent drilling was designed to resolve the structural controls on high grade mineralization to aid in the targeting of other high grade zones at Tashlaka Hill. Six oriented diamond drill holes totalling 741 metres were completed from May to July, 2006 (including one re-drilled hole, R- 243a, due to poor core recovery). With the completion of the recent drilling, Asia Gold has earned a 51% interest in the Tashlaka Hill project and three other gold projects in Bulgaria pursuant to a joint venture agreement with Hereward Ventures Bulgaria (Hereward), a wholly owned subsidiary of Cambridge Mineral Resources plc (CMR-L: AIM). Asia Gold can earn up to an 80% interest in the four CMR exploration permits in Bulgaria by funding work totalling US$4,000,000, in two stages. Stage one requires Asia Gold to complete expenditures of US$2,000,000 prior to 27 May 2007 in order to earn a 51% interest.
Colin Andrew, Managing Director, Cambridge Minerals commented: 'The earlier drilling programme confirmed the discovery of a new, unexplored epithermal gold system at Tashlaka Hill. These latest results have enhanced considerably our understanding of this complex mineralization. We believe the results increase significantly the possibility of defining a substantial deposit. Additional drilling will be carried out to determine the exact parameters and scale of the deposit' Appeared

This company has discovered substantial deposits of Gold of quality grade. They had spent a lot of money leading up to that and it seems foolish to not try and source for further funds to exploit a reserve which would most certainly create revenue for the investors. I have faith in the company and if you read today’s news so are the board. I would recommend a Strong Buy... My prediction is that we may start initial production sometime between the end of Q1 to mid Q2. At that stage, you would thank heavens you held this stock.
checked website and a number of other outlets, nothing.... But picture this, 52 Week High = 145.50. That must say something about the potential in this stock.
where am I getting my info from? there are a lot of people reading this and I am not sure giving clues of my source of research is a wise thing to do. If it was public knowledge I wouldn't be so tight...
One very interested party from within...
