I don't know why people come on moaning about the share price being down. If you look at the price over a longer time frame it has slowly being going up over the past year.
It has had some highs but these were just spikes, around the time of the breathalyser presentation, this board was pretty busy with newcomers, and there was plenty of ramping of the share before this. A lot was blamed on the presentation which I personally doubt was the issue, it is AIM, and people sell on spikes.
All shares go up and down on the way, most of us do have interests in more than one company, and know it is normal. These people that only have interest in one company and one bulletin board can't be taken seriously.
I have noticed some chunky buys, and so far today buys 95k, sells 35k
Everything is tanking. Oil and travel are up though
Newboy, wish I had sold the lot in hindsight, and bought back in low 20's!
I'm still ok as I bought in quite low.
IG not allowing margin, Covid being over ( it's not but with Boris easing restrictions some think it is), people putting money into recovery plays?
A lot of stuff is down today and yesterday.
If deramping is being cautious then so be it.
In May last year there was a distribution deal set up for the LFT, it was supposed to be out last summer.
I do hope it is all true and Avacta have finally cracked, and it is used to get us out of this mess.
31 days after AS sold shares to buy a house.
In preparation for clinical validation of the lateral flow test Avacta is working on both saliva and anterior nasal swab samples. Anterior nasal swabs sample the easily accessible parts of the nose and are therefore painless and straightforward to administer, unlike nasopharyngeal swabs which are generally regarded as painful and unpleasant. Avacta and its partners will continue to develop both sampling methods in parallel in order to bring high performance COVID-19 tests to market quickly to suit a range of use cases.
A previous version of the Avacta test, which relied on saliva rather than nasal swabs, did not pass testing by Porton Down last month. However, the latest updated version has shown excellent preliminary results and is currently being assessed.
To me, the above does not take a genius to work out the updated version is a nasal swab.
I don't think there was much in the article that wasn't already known, except that avacta's saliva test failed testing at Porton Down last month. There should have been an RNS about this. The new test is nasal. Yes we all guessed this, but we should have been updated about this.
Great news. There seems to be a pattern with most aim investments I seem to have. Price gets dragged down, muggins types appear on bb's and Twitter ( muggins, no offense meant ), then there is some good news and an increase in sp.
I think it is all games to part people with their shares. It is easy to hold if you are up, but if you are underwater it could be very testing.
Sorry, it wasn't just the RNS's, it started to decline just before then. 36.25 was 26th Jan long before the RNS's. 35 on 2nd Feb.
It has dropped nearly 10p since GB's Mrs and the MSYS collaboration RNS's. He needs to get a decent RNS out soon, one that will be of benefit to DVRG holders.....
The volume is very low today and shouldn't warrant the SP drop by this much though.
Bronxville on ORPH, yes there does seem similarities.
You assume a lot of us don't know the history of MWG (good tech - badly run). That is why it was cheap as chips to buy about a year ago.
