I think we have to accept it will be the bigger powerful vehicles that have nickel, but that is for the best in my opinion. It is nice to dream of nickel at $50,000 a tonne as it has been before, but that would somewhat extinguish the EV revolution.
Most new nickel mines need circa $20,000 a tonne, we make a profit at less than half of that thankfully.
Both mines can go for stainless steel though always an expanding market, should another new battery technology spring up. That though is probably at least a decade away in my humble opinion.
Vermelho needs to be moved along, hoping news lands sooner than later.
