I can thoroughly recommend a good view when you retire, never thought I would have a view of the water.
We had to buy a wreck that had sat on the market for two years and husband did most of the work, ex-accountant, so it came naturally to him and I was the not very able assistant. Our road is so narrow all the concrete blocks, cement etc came up in our car.
We upped the insulation standard so in my new kitchen even with snow on the ground I have never turned a radiator on.

Too much info I know, just wish to live on a diet of lobster now if my boat comes in.
