Bit of a nickel supply shortage expected judging by Elon’s interest in Goro.

I’ve been invested here when the nickel price has been sub $11,000 (prior to the pandemic) the company progressed, never forget their nickel is in the lowest quartile for costs. The companies that need $20,000 to progress have the problem.

Projected nickel price for quarter 4 this year is $16,550 a tonne, as HZM ‘s nickel comes out of the ground at below $8000 a tonne and most new nickel mines need $20,000 that seems more than adequate. Really high nickel prices will just drive more companies towards LFP for their lower mileage vehicles.

Worth saying twice.

Those in charge now have a nice runway of cash to get through the delays caused by Covid. The article I posted on mergers and acquisitions said they will start when boots can get on the ground in various countries and the same applies to financing. They underestimated Covid and the delays it would cause but now have the cash to expedite purchasing equipment and keep the lights on for as long as it takes. They did what they had to do.

The governors in various states are getting their act together with vaccinations and the mists will clear fairly soon in my opinion.
