Santa Rita is up and running, the private equity firm that owns it intends to sell it on once it has production ramped up. Its costs are in the second quartile and its product can go either EV or stainless. Sounds like they expect stainless to be the main market for the next few years.
The previous owners were wiped out by a combination of low nickel prices and punitive business deals agreed in the $ 50,000 a tonne nickel era.

It confirms to me what great assets we have, a team that have been more than diligent on the environmental aspects and projects coming on stream at the pinch points for nickel demand.

Just needs the savvy business deals announced this quarter as promised and we will be off to the market literally in my opinion.

Thanks ngnlnv, I think the company car will really push things forward here. The government introduced punitive taxation on ‘polluting’ company cars before there were enough electric ones available, firms have really been scrambling to get hold of enough.
