Interesting one duster, I emailed HZM in angst late 2018, share price below 2p.
I got the impression that they do not feel director buys changes the long term value of the share, it is their hard work and diligence that matters. They would probably buy to stem disillusion if the share price was truly dire.
If they bought regularly it would be perfection, on the other hand the chap in charge of Glencore has bought a lot of Glencore shares, but that company sails close to the wind in my opinion.
HZM plays thing by the rule book, so I accept things as they are most of the time, but expect those running the show to get their wallets out if solidarity really needs to be shown.
The CFO bought last a little while ago always reassuring.
Rob Terry had a lot of shares in Quindell, but he managed to extricate them, he did not go down with his ship, so I would consider the past and present business life of those in charge as the most important aspect, leopards and spots ....
