That's all well and good if that's the case, however surely this mining code can be changed at any time to suit the current goverment. So not sure what they could possible change to cover the future changes to this over the next few phases here.

...it's all gone a little quiet here. We have all been left in the dark for far too long, even Brad by the sounds of things. The $2 million received is an indication that Minera Monte Aguila have made the decision to move to Phase 2. So why the hold up, why are they able to change the agreement, and why is it taking so long? Could the joint venture of Minera Monte Aguila (Newmont and Agnico), be the factor here and they are fighting each other for a bigger slice of Anza with Orosur?

Phase 2 is looking likely to be confirmed, which make me believe that we have a Tier 1 gold mine in the making here.
So saying that a Tier One mine that produces in excess of 500,000 ounces of gold per annum and has a life of at least 10 years, OMI will own 25% minimum.

What could that be worth...

25% of 5M oz is 1.25M oz
1.25M oz x $1000* per oz profit = $1.25B ($125m a year)

*Depends on POG and cost of getting it out of the ground and so on.

Slight change of subject, just interested to know. Does anyone know how market makers on the LSE do business. Do they choose which companies to represent. Are there set length of time they have to do business with a company. Would knowing which market makers we have make any difference. Can someone share there knowledge on market makers.

Long weekend coming up and a time to reflect, research and ponder on investing here short/long term.

3 Months:
Commence next phase of drilling at Anza in Colombia. Complete next phase of work at El Pantano. Ink new JV in Argentina. Commence work on our Ariquemes tin project in Brazil.

6 Months:
Finalise JV terms for transition into Phase 2 of the Anza JV with Agnico and Newmont. Moving into Phase 2 means $20m spend over 4 years. Commence field work at the Ariquemes project in Brazil. Commence drilling in Argentina.

12 Months:
Ramp up drilling at Anza in Colombia. Continue drilling in Argentina at two projects. Potential drilling in Brazil.

Maybe the bottom, still could go down further. That doesn't really bother me, from here this can easily x5 bag or x10 bag which will happen from these lows of the SP. The potential here could be massive, why shouldn't it x20 bag or even x40 bag. No one knows how much gold is in the ground, but I'm sure that our JV friends are sticking around to find it. Happy to keep adding when I can.

Agreed, but we all know that the value of gold is on the rise at the moment which will effect the value. Then we have the cost to get it out the ground so our 25% could be worth alot more than $250 million. This has the potential to be as big as buritica, but we won't know for a while till we have a bigger picture of what's in the ground. I'm sticking around for a while till we get brought out, I am fully committed and believe this is a once in a life time opportunity. But I guess that can be said with most shares until they fall flat on there faces. GLA

ssshhhhhh you're going to wake everyone up! Once the news lands the SP is going to fly, especially as we know the potential here and have a fair idea what's going on in the background. Very quiet at the moment, no one is really expecting a RNS tomorrow let alone this week. One is brewing which is likely to get this SP moving back into the 20's. Could Brad surprise us though, and give us a update while in London.

Why? I would say the ones that traded for 11.57p are all buys. As I have done some dummy buys all day, which came back at the same price at 11.57p. I am surprised that when shares are processed, that they would know if its a buy or a sell. So is this done on purpose to bring the SP down or for some other reason perhaps.
