Hard to say what the mood of the market will be in the very near future. Employers are going to feel the 25 billion on NI contributions just as well were not far off breaking even. But the boost to the NHS puts us in the right ball park and especially as Reeves was very clear about the investment in diagnostics and those regional diagnostic hubs.

It can keep dropping a while as far as I'm concerned. Hoping for another drop around the budget and then I'm definitely in again. All good things are worth waiting for!

....Indeed time will tell, and if some want to compare the inevitable time it takes for a great business to grow with jam, I prefer to compare it with an excellent bottle of wine steadily maturing.

The Salistic connection with Boots and Superdrug is still mentioned in the accounts though so maybe Tesco has gone cold on it for whatever reason and so ABDX didn't care to mention Salistick at all at the conference to avoid any awkward questions? Still the sales and distribution side is the small component of the increasing revenues coming in. There are some very encouraging statistics in the accounts anyhow.

That's a shame. Funnily enough I popped into my Boots and Superdrug today to note any change and there were 3 as opposed to 2 boxes in my Superdrug which was encouraging at least, and still 2 boxes in my Boots next to only a few of the Clearblue that is likely to be the main competition. Doesn't tell us that much I know.

A Lateral Flow Test (LFT) is an assay (LFA) also known as a Lateral Flow Device (LFD). They are immunochromatographic assays or simply rapid tests to you and I lol. I'm not sure what TATs are. The article Muck sites is not easy to read at all lol. I gave up before the end lol. I kept going for as long as I could as I was curious about TATs too! Did make me realise there is still a long way to go in improving the sensitivities in LFTs to improve their accuracy to be more helpful in early diagnosis of viruses etc. Still a lot of false negatives around. They are better for diagnosis of a condition once it is established. I'm hoping ABDX is involved in the "next generation of LFAs and future prospects" the article sites. Just as well we diversify so well.

That's some list! It's all in place and if some information seems withheld, I reckon a well run and well organised company like ABDX will have good reasons to. With the long list of well diversified projects we're aware of would there be any point in rattling this super touchy market with any projects that may have fizzled for example when they're moving on to potentially bigger and more demanding ones. Remember that incredibly long positive list and cut them some slack.

Fingers and toes then. I'm going to be kicking myself for missing another helpful drop soon. I'd like it just a tad lower before I get in again then the inevitable climb back up lol. That would be just perfect.

A sea of blue trades today and yesterday with interesting sp movements to encourage this I think. My bones tell me this is going to shift favourably soon . Many traders will have the "feel good factor" from movements in GDR and Avacta today. Fingers crossed.

Ah, thank you for confirming that the 4 FOFH tests are not yet commercial but at manufacturing stage .Was wondering about that. FOFH must be pretty confident about the regulatory approval and market to have the made so soon. I'm not surprised there was great excitement about FOFH given the impending expansion into the US market. This was the standout result confirmed this week for me. I'm dead excited about it. The dust will settle today. We are all feeling the frustration of a global market slump, conscious or subconscious anxiety about our increasingly unstable world. I think poor old ABDX felt the brunt of all that yesterday. As Muck says, its hard to actually see yesterday's results as that disappointing but they were just not as good as we'd hoped for after the raise. I feel as frustrated as everyone else here,I'm allowing myself to feel low when one stock does better than another and I wish I'd chosen better. It's all a gamble and we know that. But the good in this choice far outweighs many others I've made and I'm just going to have to show the stamina and emotional balance to see it through. Keep the faith all. We are still on the right path.

...or could be giving us a bit of a gift and the opportunity to buy more! Crazy not to if the price drops much further.

"Robust growth potential forecast at York-based Abingdon Health" Doesn't sound like all gloom and doom to me. Some portion of the market is clearly happy. Lol. Totally agree Muck, there is nothing to worry about. Almost laughable, but those that can see where we are going will remain invested and those that are worried shouldn't. Feels very chilled to me.

I can see why there may be some disappointment in the results today but I think that the list of achievements is pretty long and still contain areas of great excitement for me. With close cost financial management and the seeking of further senior managers largely due to expansion in the US , their progress this year has been amazing! I trust this team to pull off all their ambitions for expansion and expansion costs. I'm really pleased that product revenue for the 3 Boots tests has risen by 56% for example and that we have tests for sepsis,pregnancy and strokes all on the market with so many other projects producing revenue . I personally see no sign of struggle for this company. I see pretty damn good progress this year. Well done ABDX!

"Alarm bells" only start to ring when you want to sell your shares quickly. It's amazing that ABDX has managed to hang on to a fairly steady share price for as long as it has. That's testimony to the fact that the majority of investors here are well aware of its substance and even after a raise its rate of decline has been pretty slow in comparison to what has been happening to other penny stocks in this horrid market. Such a shame that so many out there are happy to see so many companies suffer and crash just to make a small profit. Much better for all if you find something worthwhile like ABDX and support them for as long as you can through their journey to success.
