It would be dull not to :) I’m sure galp wouldn’t be lining up raw materials to process to give to nobody. .. moz strategic plan must be due in near term ‘to realise value from that project’ - very much a sleeping giant that one
There’s still a few dots to make this clear to the outside investor imo. I think definitive announcement between galp and northvolt will massively help. Any coverage on this deal would be welcome as it’s a company making deal
On a side note. David has had a fair share of a kicking on these boards. Some possibly justified. Mostly not...we have 2 projects now with 2 major players in a time where no stone is left in turned. Ultimately, It does solidify the quality of management here
Wow. Great day for Sav! There’s been plenty of speculation with galps negotiations over last few weeks, I don’t think we could’ve hoped for a better friend :) ... upto 100,000 is a big number too and 10% at project level is shrewd by the team too. A big friend. A tidy lumper to keep wolves at bay. A great day!
Not much but an overdue update on their website regarding mutamba https://www.riotinto.com/Operations/non-managed-operations
Shareholders have suffered with license delays which have moved projects back. Make no mistake, the be all - is the fact the license is received. You don’t get them for free and a lot of work goes into it. Who knows, this and moz license within quick timescales and Portugal moving at a much quicker pace... this could gather momentum pretty quick. In meantime let’s get above 4.5 again :) + :(
I’m surprised more hasn’t been made of the numbers sp angel have speculated on. It’s been suggested in interviews and presentations that dfs will look at extended mine life and throughout. Some exciting looking npv’s in the pdf which will more than likely be closer to what will be shown in dfs than our current scoping numbers
I don’t understand why the same old investors constantly gripe. If I felt that strongly, I would 100% sell. It’s not hard. Imagine nothing comes to fruition and you end up telling yourself ‘I told you so’.. you’d never forgive yourselves. GLA
It’s easy to see Sav are trying to pave the way in how to go about developing a mine in Portugal. Especially with relevance of by-products to local areas and impact on environment.. how that evolves for us as a company is anyone’s guess
I don’t see the negative here? We have our asset. We’ll potentially have 35-50mt to keep little old Sav occupied. If a multi-billion major fancies hoovering up the other licenses and a hydroxide plant to boot. Fine by me. The portugese govt will have something pretty big to shout about. They’ve been clear in their tenders message that they want the full process to take place in country and with 1 major looking to facilitate that... I don’t have to list what potential plus points that could mean for the most advanced project in Portugal ? :)
I got the feeling the final alllication was to tie the whole project together. I didn’t get the feeling we’d receive the prior applications in and around that time. Someone made valid point about the cadestre not acknowledging the license application until April (from jan) .. I’d say good chance here. Based on David’s mention in proactive and rough timelines by gov you’d be inclined to think we’re in the endgame there?
New... https://t.co/NAC0RXNvEF ‘meaningful Offtake / corporate alignments’ are highlights :)
