In case it had been the husband… it would have meant no bad news for the coming next three weeks or what ever the silent period of insider dealings. :)
Very interesting to see the data and accelerated strategy.
And the following words by Markku is saying they are working hard on a potential giant promise!
"I am delighted to be hosting this R&D Day with our invited speakers who will provide important insights into the immunotherapy approaches currently available to patients and work Faron is doing to potentially bring the promise of immunotherapy to a broader patient group," said Dr. Markku Jalkanen, Chief Executive Officer of Faron. "The unfortunate reality is that currently, only a small segment of cancer patients benefit from immunotherapy and there remains an urgent clinical need to identify new treatment approaches."
Hopefully we will also soon hear about Traumakine too. What is the value for Faron and us shareholders. Where will it find it’s place as a valuable treatment?
Thanks for all the answers! I understand it now better. Crossing the 30% threshold is for real players with huge resources. You just can’t cross it and stay passive and wait to pick up additional shares in dips to reach more voting power. Anyway 30% is nothing in case the one can’t get 90 % of the votes on their side for an acquisition.
No interruptions in trading I guess if nothing else unexceptional at the same time.
“Hold onto your shares and lets hope there is no offer from Polygon before we get the P3 results!”
Could somebody please clarify the AIM rule concerning the threshold of 30%. I understand that by crossing this threshold it obligates to make an offer on the highest 12 months SP (224p). But are the shareholders obligated to sell? Can any other group intervene with a higher offer? Can this lead in to a standstill situation meaning no trading for an unknown period?
An offer on SP 224p before the P3 results wouldn’t be bad in case of a failing P3. No matter weather you are obligated to sell or not but the offerer is obligated to buy.
With this positive sentiment here indicating good P3 results and the SP 20, 30, 50 or 75£ why wouldn’t Polygon partner with eg Polar and redeem others out with 224p? I guess there is still greedy money available for good deals. I understand if it would be against their own rules and principles. Or are Polygon actually protecting pi’s and Synairgen’s interests by buying all free shares and preventing too easy TO’s by other groups?
“
If we know T works we should be trading at £4.50 without Bex incorporated into the SP.
We were trading at £8 before the poor trail results in 2018 however with significantly less share in issue.”
I came in afterwards. Was the possible good results all discounted in the£8?
Great news absolutely! These news would have skyrocket the SP in to new heights at the “old days” when there was only Traumakine in our minds. Let’s see…
Indeed, wonderful reading these patents and applications filed by Faron, inventors also mentioned of course.
E.g. the application “Treatment of diseases with clever-1 inhibition in combination with an interleukin inhibitor”. When patent granted, would have tremendous effect on Faron not to mention how the use of the substances and methods would/will affect the healthcare, actually even before granting the patent?
Good point Sax, stay ahead and that is why I wonder who is selling at that price? Especially now when “the ducks are lining up nicely “. Naturally it may be that sometimes some funds may need to sell to obey their rules?
Sax you do great research and your writings are excellent in their value of information. Thank you for being here on this bb. I appreciate your input..
Ques, thank you for your observations. Of course only a lunatic would plan TO to leave the family out. Couldn’t imagine any of the names mentioned. Thinking it other way around imagine if some others would form a consortium that crosses over the critical TR being forced to make an offer? (not yet a TR forcing others to sell?). Current Mcap is ridiculous low compared to the potential and there is always greedy money available. Have to admit that isn’t it first the 90% threshold that entitles to make a redemption of the rest of the shares? Apparently not a thing somebody would manage and like to do. Doomed as impossible? On my behalf this theme about TO in this context can be closed, unless I have misunderstood something.
Just wondering why any instance is keen on selling their shares at this price level and to the one an only buyer?
Dullest scenario was that the seller knows the buyer would plan a buyout together with some others as a consortium. So the seller may think that this SP won’t get higher in redemption.
I guess that is why Jalkanen family is now accelerating to get Bex up and the SP up. The above mentioned scenario wouldn’t be their first choice but what to do if the situation would develop as described. Are you in or out could be the question. I don’t know if such a development could be possible or in anyone’s interests at all.
Maybe these trades are telling that Timo will keep his % like Sax mentioned. Who knows maybe there is a fear that other consortiums are waking up? The SP is too low far too low!
This is all speculation but sometimes some questions needs to be raised. Not saying this being an obvious development at all
So delighted Bex accelerating commercialization. That’s almost like a ship launched in the water now for completion. I recall Markku encouraged to get in dialogue with FDA at an early stage. I wouldn’t be surprised if such a dialogue is making a headway with Bex now. Would a status as an investigational drug be possible (pure speculation)?
Overall success rates from Phase I to FDA approval is nearly 9%. The tip of an iceberg is about 10% of the iceberg and visible above the water surface. So early dialogue makes you navigate better to clear the invisible 90%.

Timo?
So can’t expect the SP getting much lower anymore, unless it will be Timo again.
For tha last Friday the 28th of January.
Thanks Terzio, nice achievement and they are definitely not the Simpsons.
I recall Markku mentioned they have four PHds in the family. I guess them all been introduced to us already, otherwise there should be a secret weapon not yet introduced?
Hello Hold4r, thank you for your kind response! No reason to argue with you. Just as a thought although. I have some shares of Faron but I don’t believe discussions here has a meaning to impact share price. Merely get informed I like it here. So both of these companies are on IFNB and thus very interesting. My guess is that Interferons as a natural response are still far more we understand so far.
The following could be beneficial for Faron
Long Covid study finds abnormality in lungs that could explain breathlessness.
“It does suggest the virus is causing some kind of persistent abnormality within the microstructure of the lungs or in the pulmonary vasculature.”
