Tip for anyone on HL.

Have your accounts open on phone ap and in main HL site on computer. Prep trades on both and keep refreshing. I did this this morn and generally at least one option was always working. Allowed me to do 3 trades when I wanted.....

After the massive gains of late and today’s generally suppressed market I’d be really happy for this sp to finish around 80 today. IMHO that would show the genuine strength / resilience of this share and that’s what really counts for me. Of course finishing higher today would be great...but we all know it’s going there anyway. Hang in there. GLA.

Spoke to them last week. It’s covid trading frenzy. They said try to fill / kill etc....but that’s fairly pointless as it’s about a 15min trade delay.
Once your in just buy and stick....or you’ll prob lose out. (Not ramping...speaking from experiences last week...see my Friday post) Main site works pretty well. Dump app for trading atm.

Re HL, I just spoke to them. Have to fill or kill...but even then it can take up to 15mins which is useless. Basically he said volumes are so insane during this COVID time etc it’s a problem.
Did point out I can’t even get in to my account and fill or kill stage most of the time.
I’ve lost over £2.5k in profit not being able to selland that doesn’t even include not being able to buy back in a dips that fully recover. So more like £5k and I’m only trading off a £10k pot!!!

Utterly f’ing useless. Failed me all week. Lost me a lot of money. Cannot trade on big swings, buy or sell! So fed up.

Yeah been a prob. It’s working for me right now....but when it dipped to 39 2 days ago I couldn’t get a top up trade to go through until 43.5.....annoying!

It freaks out at high volumes of trade!

Graph71 Yes mate....there is a huge amount of tosh on here. Avoid wild figures, people who’s posts constantly contradict, and personally I don’t like the people who boast about how much they invest / have made...
Just use the filter. Re taking advice. You can only ultimately make your own decisions. I guarantee everyone on here who invests regularly has won and lost big at times.
I do as much personal research as possible, if I then notice a majority of posters I respect have a similar opinion it does give me a little more confidence in my own. Doesn’t mean it always pans out though!

Agree completely, it takes literally one message to spot the total idiots....and yes that green message is very satisfying.

It’s utterly pointless and a total waste of time to read / react. I don’t know why anyone would bother!

I wonder how influential Wolff has been in relation to Tobias Moers likely appointment? Haha. Probably agreed in principal before he bought his 14.5 million shares last month, which he’ll be keen to get BACK to his buy in at 55p ASAP!
