Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
I really hope that we get a good stream of news until the end of March. John really needs to take advantage of the high Zinc prices and talk to Teck to make a decision. Could the 'corporate interest' include Teck? Does Teck want to sell their stake in Stonepark? Does Con want to one day be a producer? Why keep a stake if Con does not want to produce from it in a bull market?
Do you guys think Teck will at some point in the near future (not in 2018) make a decision on how to do with their stake in Stonepark. Could they decide to so a BFS this year?
The company that holds the licenses on the left of our Stonepark discovery according to the the license map I posted is about to do their IPO. http://investingnews.com/daily/resource-investing/base-metals-investing/zinc-investing/adventus-zinc-corporation-files-final-prospectus-announces-pricing-intial-public-offering/ * C$9.8M in working capital (£6.8m) * C$0.50 per share (30p) * 45.6 million common shares (valuing the business @ C$ 22.8m (£13.8m)
Zinc is clearly in a bull market and I hope John takes advantage of that to benefit all shareholders. Zinc acquisitions are happening everywhere and if there is 'corporate interest' then lets get that moving.
Top End Minerals closing in on zinc acquisition http://www.proactiveinvestors.com.au/companies/news/172327/top-end-minerals-closing-in-on-zinc-acquisition-172327.html Main points: In late November 2016, Top End acquired the option to purchase a 60% interest in the Longh Keng zinc mine and Lashio zinc refinery in Myanmar for US$43 million. The 8 square kilometre mining lease hosts two high grade zinc outcrops, collectively containing a non-JORC inferred resource of circa 171,194 tonnes grading 36.84% zinc.
Con has been operating for 10 years and still only has 75m shares. Look at our peers and compare. The BOD's don't like dilution and won't raise if there is not reason to do so. Maybe selling Stonepark solves that issue very quickly.
The email from JohnTeeling that was posted on twitter and later deleted is fake. Nobody knows when news will come out but it could be at any moment. We are only drilling one hole (TC-1991-003) and it is taking a long time to release the results. They have found something interesting and decided to drill more or there is something else happening in the background. All speculation at the moment. Any theories on what is going on?
Our licenses are under Connemara, Oldcastle and TILZ. Oldcastle Zinc Ltd and TILZ are our subsidiaries with Teck Ireland. Have you noticed that Teck own a huge number of licenses close to Oldcastle and my thought is that the drilling is also helping them examine their own acreage? At Stonepark, They have a deal with Adventus on our left and on our right, Group Eleven Mining has just raised capital from MAG Silver. Here is the article: €1bn silver mining company takes stake in fledgling Dublin-based Group Eleven Resources http://www.independent.ie/business/irish/1bn-silver-mining-company-takes-stake-in-fledgling-dublinbased-group-eleven-resources-35358312.html
I found this document with all the licences. Have a look. This company also has a deal with Teck and they are close to our Stonepark license. Teck also has various licences close to Oldcastle and the Tara mine. For how long have you held Con?
Correction: Not Deloitte, our previous auditors that signed the 2014 accounts. Quote from the financial report: The financial information set out above does not constitute the Company's financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2015. The financial information for 2014 is derived from the financial statements for 2014 which have been delivered to the Companies Registration Office. The auditors have reported on 2014 statements; their report was unqualified with an emphasis of matter in respect of considering the adequacy of the disclosures made in the financial statements concerning the valuation of intangible assets, investment in subsidiaries and amounts due by group undertakings. The financial statements for 2015 will be delivered to the Companies Registration Office.
Yes DShox. I just don't understand why this company is so undervalued! I am trying to do some research to understand why, but I can't find anything. Could it be because of the 2015 accounts and Deloitte initially not wanting to sign it? What do you think? PS: I think that John wanted to value the assets correctly but Deloitte didn't want to sign.
DShox & zatcha1980 - I agree. Teck must have looked at the logs and given a good probability that they can find commercial Zinc or they wouldn’t invest more into the project. These reserves are really good for their portfolio and they might take the project (at least Stonepark) into production. The question here is if John will want to sell and how much will he be happy with. His children also have shares in Con and if he sells and announces a special dividend, we will all benefit. Perfect outcome for me: Oldcastle has commercial Zinc with a resource of 60 - 100mt Teck makes an offer for both assets (Oldcastle and Stonepark) Con announces a special dividend and shareholders vote yes Con is fully funded to explore all outstanding licenses Con finds commercial gold next to Dalradian license
What is your gut feeling for the next set of results from Oldcastle?
I did a quick Stonepark value to Con and came up with $68m When MINCO sold their share of PallasGreen, John Teeling said that he thought that the true value of the asset should have been $7 per ton and not $3 as it was sold. $7 x 42mt = $294 (23.4% share) = $68m (£54m) Share value on that asset if sold (72p) There are a couple of things that are bugging me about the asset (Stonepark) and John Teeling. I found out yesterday that Trampus Nominees took Con to court asking for the company to be wound up. Why would a shareholder with 6% in the company ask for the court to wound up Con? My suspition is that Trampus Nominees wanted to force the company to go into administration and because Con had no debts, proceeds would be shared by shareholders. Trampus Nominees lost the case and the company is still in business. The price of Zinc had dropped at the time (2013) and it is understandable why John didn't want to sell for a price he didn't think was the true value of the asset. However, things have changed and I think at the current Zinc price, we could potentially get its true value and fund the gold exploration.
Why don't you think we should sell Stonepark? We don't have the finance to meet the cash calls to produce from that asset? What would you do with that asset?
Predictions guys?
LIMITED ETFS ZINC - Has doubled in 1 year. Looking good! https://www.google.co.uk/finance?cid=7228929
The zinc price is on the rise, but which companies are set to benefit the most? Share 11:57 26 Jan 2017 http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/172230/the-zinc-price-is-on-the-rise-but-which-companies-are-set-to-benefit-the-most-172230.html Could this explain why the Jan 2017 presentation changed the section about our 42mt Zinc discovery from 'Best Option is for the project to be sold' to 'Some corporate interest'?
Investors make their own decisions and you should make your own. Wait or invest is all about your research and analysis. Good luck with your decisions. Your post yesterday: I don't pump any shares like u. I give realistic view. Company has made it clear, there is no reason for the rise. Now explain to me why the rise, or u know more than the company itself. This share got overbought and overpriced, expect a down trend in coming days. Well, I have done my research and I am happy at the price I have.
