The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
TMT, thanks for the amazing analysis. This is the stuff that helps less knowledgeable investors like me understanding why they are here for, and why there is nothing around that compares to Greatland.
You can always start with yourself instead of opening another topic for whinging.
During the NY off market days there were other topics related to gold, POG, neighbours. Nothing bad with that, actually the opposite. All related.
Good one, also in my radar, and according to my research probably one of the best between the junior explorers. However GGP is 2 steps ahead and there is more chance to have this doubling than ECR.
ECR is at the stage of GGP 2 years ago, with far less projects though, but on the other side of the coin much smaller mcap and shares outstanding, but they might have to raise cash, dilute, etc.
So personally I prefer to put my money still in GGP and/or PAT (way further than ECR, huge potential, solid and tiny mcap).
Thanks speedy, appreciate your opinion and I am with you on same strategy.
Another interesting one about POG and POS, end of super cycle, deflation following hyper inflation, etc. Long 45 minutes but main interesting piece from minute 30.

Speedy, your thoughts?

Indeed, some say the true value of gold right now is already 10 or 12K USD per oz. As I said in my first post on the topic, long term it will get its true value, but short term it will have a couple of bumpy roads.
Question for the investors, including those of GGP, is obviously: are you here for the short-term or for the long run? Personally I am in long term, no matter if we hit a couple of short-term panic sells.
I am also buying physical silver and gold. Britannias, Kruggerrand, Buffalos, Eagles? What's your take?
