If you have doubts about the viability of the business model going forward then simply dont invest in cinema? Invest in a streaming platform?

You could have had a free ride by now if you just had a little more bottle and held for a few weeks rather than sell on same day, seems you have screwed yourself over by thinking so glass half empty.

I think even IDW knows that cine is currently a bargain.. and it wouldnt surprise me to learn that he has been topping up cheap shares for the longer term

Why else would he be here 2 years before he says he will invest? He is litterally motleyfool writer who says he will get rich from cineworld but he spends too much time writing and forget to buy shares

I think we will see the fall of AMC and increase our market share, we will also decrease our rental outgoings massively and all on a bumper year meaning extra profits

Anyway.. two bumper years 2021 & 2022 big list of movies due and we should be able to pay off a fair chunk of debt seeing as no dividends until 2023

Its probably the only thing i agree with IDW on is that this new loan wasnt cheap.. but when mixed with all of our previous debt it only increased to 4.5% so doesnt look so bad overall

Luckily our 2020 debt only accounts for under 10% of our total debt thats why it didnt effect our overall interest rate massively

Think of it like if you buy 10% more shares for a much higher price it will not increase your average by very much

If i had to warrant a guess is that WB fancy purchasing cinema chain of their own again.. covid has created the perfect opportunity for the studios with their eyes on the prize that was once snatched from them..
