Now a reporter from the Sun has picked up on her post.. just to be clear, One anonymous poster on an anonymous board does not speak for everyone or share the views of all shareholders. But if i remember rightly there was posters on the claimant facebook page writing on here. Could be trying to make a story out of nothing by posting anonymously here to make us look bad. Franky is probably Sara Williams herself.. (go with it Franky)
They would do their own valuations of the business, i'm sure the current SP will not even factor in..
Jamestudor - then the lenders agree to a D4E swap for about $800,000,000 of the debt being wiped and then Cine returns to profitability
Crikey.. you need a weekend away after all this bonkers
Its funny to see the longest holders return with such a negative feel.. dont worry FI you will come good
Thats what id imagine happened itisagame afterall
There was a really creepy looking guy stood on the bus stop as i walked past, he screaming with tears running down his face i was like you alright mate? He goes yeah iv never been this happy i just bought 3% of the loan company that i owe £80,000 to in missed interest payments.

Fill out this if even a slight interest in trying to ammend scheme to be "fair for all, shareholders included"
We are currently just over 3% holding between 10 of us who have replied so far but we would need 10% to call an EGM
Olly i dont see what point you are trying to make? How is wanting to call an EGM treating it like a playground? I get it if you have written off your holding already that it might not seem worth fighting what seems like inevitable 19/1 dilution but there is still chance to ammend the scheme and avoid total wipeout (or try to raise 4x mcap between us)
The board are supposed to do everything in their power to protect shareholders.. (even if we are back of the queue there is no need of 19/1 wipeout) shareholders will still have to vote on this.. and the board should know there is a real prospect of the vote failing to pass.. which will not lead to the best outcome for claimants either.
Seems pointless and self defeating to inconvenience people AND get lower average ticket price..
When can we get a write-up in as much detail as this cineplex article? :)
Aiminvestor - the current shareprice doesnt determine how much we will end up with..
and i said i hope for no sale.
£1.83/share is not out of the question just because the current shareprice is 4p.. things can change quickly.
My fingers are crossed for either no sale or a sale that will pay everyone, including shareholders atleast £1.83 per share so mooky can even get his LTIP reward
Public prices for shorting dont mean a thing if a big holder agrees to lend someone their shares for a fixed price behind closed doors.. almost all of the trading volume of Cine shares are done Off-book to avoid shareprice spikes.
