I had a sell order went though at 3.9 this morning for 50k of shares which I had forgotten to cancel/move up. Bought them back at 3.668 just now .

I had planned to just sit tight until at least 5 p, so will teach me to check what orders I have in place!

Unfortunately it didn’t close at 2p allowing you a day off from posting . Fingers crossed for next week ;)

Back to the SGSC saga: my take is that the board of Igraine deemed that the results of the trial were not a success in regards to it being a specific COVID treatment, even if there was some encouragement generally.

I am guessing that the board of VELA invested in Igraine after this news as Igraine have avenues to eventual income/royalties etc if the same drug is found to be effective in other treatments, which looks much more likely, although this may still be a way off.

So it might be a shrewd long term decision , which looks like a total mess in the short term.

The mystery and frustration is the complete lack of reasonable communication and explanation from the company. When I looked through Igraines accounts today that was enough for me to exit here again for the time being, even before the terrible CSFS rns this evening.

Better to invest in the likes of CODE, ENSI, MODE etc separately. Even CSFS at 6/7p might be a good bet.

Considering most investments have likely bottomed out and some are doing reasonably well, and with a potential multiplier jackpot , then it seems a relatively tempting AIM gamble .
