IMO, suspension will last until next week, if not longer; a few days needed for paperwork to be prepared/checked/signed over 2-3 continents. "Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the EARLIER of commencement of trading on Thursday, 1 May 2025 OR WHEN the announcement is released to the market."

I'd say 3.30p, some consolidation is needed and with JSE halted, no more leaks to push it up :)

Conv bonds are still less dilutory than equity, but let's see; if Sharia finance (no interest payable), Conv bonds are a solution I guess.

IMO the Board is already aware of, and has accepted the Term Sheet (going on for ages), they need possibly just a few more days to "execute" the agreements, especially the loan related ones; even if lawyers are involved afresh to review these on KP's behalf, I'd hope that it won't take long - news are likely next week?

I agree that the suspension will be lifted earlier than 31 May; why specify May 1st otherwise?

50% of the cost (1 bln) will definitely come from Royalties, this has been declared in the Listing particulars since joining AIM in 2018; the rest from Debt (whether 50% or less) should have been under discussion with MEast Banks and/or Chinese banks since the November EPC; so, there has been plenty of time for all parties to hammer the details and obviously KP's Board is aware of all goings on continuously. IMO

It's hilarious (and costly to some) that the SP did not react to the ASX suspension, at market open, but it did react to the JSE one - for exactly the same reason - just because the RNS was issued in London a few hours later!

MH25, it just follows JSE/ASX rules which require suspension if a material announcement is pending but the exact timing is uncertain.

Still some way to go to 4.4p, the TP by brokers, assuming a 300mln contribution by KP towards the 2bln project cost; anything less than this implies a higher SP target.

Joking aside, the volatility, the undervaluation, low volumes etc mean that you can make good money if you get the stock right and hold your nerve; KP has risen from 0.46p to 2.40 today over the past 12 months appx; and it still has plenty more to rise with basically very low risk (if you read the RNS). IMO

IMO, this looks similar to last November's EPC-related suspension in ASX, which lasted 2 weeks, if I remember; it indicates possibly that the Co considers the current waiting period re the Term sheet details as price-sensitive (which is, obviously), hence it has requested a suspension; this will still allow insiders, of course, to trade on AIM and JSE. We will the price reaction in the next few days, especially if Brokers update their clients with increased TPrices.

The trading halt might be longer actually, if related to the release of the Term sheet details.

BTW, it'd be good to get a Research update in the next few days; last one on the site, dd 25 March, gave a TP of 4.4p assuming a big dilution (issue of 10bln new shares Vs 5bln now), to raise 300mln - being KP's equity contribution to project costs; I am probably missing something but if No 66% dilution, would that make the TP 3x 4.4p = 13p???

Yes, you were right Mitch; although they have clearly said that no dilution is expected so we will see if leaks occur / rises during May; i will be surprised if there is no insider buying over this period.
