Re Nicola Kingswell and "Modern Water", adding to my y'day's posts, she seems to be also the Founder of Niche Scientific, another firm in York Biotech Campus and mentioned below as a partner of MET. Thus, it appears that MET is outsourcing scientific work to her firm. FWIW

Anyway, MET is building up slowly but steadily, with a keen control of costs, having a hand in useful scientific collaborations and projects and, IMO, by year end it will start reaping the rewards (if not sooner). DYOR

REV up not by much but at least margins are improving; bigger revenues in H2 @55% (expected); cash sufficient to cover oper exps and interest payments, we'd expect higher cash flow for H2; all in all, a small improvement and stabilisation at least.

it seems Nicola is/was part of the Labskin team (ex Deepverge)? I wonder about the significance of this. MET and Labskin are neighbours in York Biotech Campus (APTAMER too) so are they collaborating? or have they poached Nicola?

386k due by Sept, re Doha CTMs; 3 LXs x 26 weeks (could be 4-5 per week) x £20k (I assume) i.e. 1.5-1.6mln; Reagent sales from LXs, CTMs min 250-300k?

sales of SRB kits (from June 2025), sales of FXs (unknown); ignoring any potential funding re Pathogen Detector and PFAS licensing (big if).

Assuming a GM of 50% (could be higher) and 100k pm in oper. exps (based on previous cash burn), gives us 1.25mln - 600k; I say 300-400k Net Profit for H2 minus a loss (?) of 200k (we will know next month) for H1, leaves a FY NProfit of appx £200k (MINIMUM). DYOR

Indeed Bobbust; MWater was bought by DVRG for 20mln, METIR got it for 100k (excl. the 1mln GJB siphoned off).

By y/e it'll be clear to all that the Co will have FY2025 Revenues of 3ml+ and a decent profit - IMO

I don't think there is an overhang, it's just the MMs widening the spread and their profit if they see a bit of demand; the investors below invested 1 1/2 years ago at 1.25p, lost half and invested again at 0.65 this June; so I don't think a) they want to sell now b) they invested twice so must have a good idea about future profitability etc.

Suffice to say, this is my biggest holding by far; as usual, people will wake up when the SP doubles and approaches 2p IMO (by Xmas :)). DYOR

IMO, your timing is perfect LV; the Co will turn profitable after 14 years on AIM and the interims will possibly provide proof of that, or otherwise a strong indication that this will happen by Xmas (the latest).

Given that last year the Co had 2 employees, I reckon that MET orders the finished items, hence why I estimate that it makes a 50% GM on a wholesale price of 20k. It seems that the LX retails at $30k, from what I found on the internet.

Just IMO, LV, "immediately" 'd be my answer; production started minimally last December and then due to robust demand, it got ramped up to 3 per week in just a few weeks; but the May end RNS and the Fund raising RNS allude to unmet demand, firstly, and secondly need to quickly ramp production both to increase economies of scale (And NProfit per machine) and satisfy demand; I believe this (robust demand) was one of the reasons the fund raising happened so quickly and successfully. I think there is a waiting list for the LXs, hence no lead time and also why Mgt alluded to positive EBIT in H2 (now!). Finally, the outsourced manufacturer is a big outfit so obviously they can quickly adjust production to as many LXs as the Co needs. Even 4-5 per week will make a big contribution to our bottom line.

Not counting Friday morning, last trading day. GLA, let's hope for a turning point.

2.95 paid - leak on the horizon?

The MM is obliged to create a market in the shares of even illiquid stocks; the lower the volume, the bigger the spread needed to compensate (so, quite usual for small AIM stocks); in T42's case, the MM knows that next week's RNS may cause a big change in the SP (upwards, IMO), hence, on the one hand they need to keep hold of stock until volumes increase, on the other hand the public info available (re T42's rerate that should follow a good RNS) does not justify now a rise in the Bid SP; hence, the MM increases the Offer SP to keep the spread wide; of course, they could lower the Bid but that may expose them to a rush of BUYs without suffcient stock; all IMO; we will see next week when the SP jumps (IMO) and hopefully volumes too, thus reducing the spread.
